Guess who showed up on the golden-anniversary tribute-video our kids assembled for us …

Among the shining faces of friends and relatives offering congratulations and good wishes, up popped one of Sharon’s long-time favorite performers and writers — Rosanne Cash!

Word is that the big catch came through Misty Boyce, a member of Lord Huron’s touring band and a musical artist in her own right (Misty Boyce Plays Well Enough Alone, 2023). She’s a buddy of Cash.

Cash said, among other things: “I’m looking forward to the textbook that you’ll write for the rest of us to tell us how to do it.”

Maybe I'm sick in the head, but why do Shanks and Zoro go so well together?
