Imagine person A of your otp is an incubus/succubus/some sot of shape changer. Whenever someone looks at them, they don't see person A, they see whatever they think is the most attractive. The only people who know what person A looks like are some family members and person A themself. Then, one day, person B approaches and says to person A that they are the most gorgeous person that they have ever seen. Person A asks person B to describe what they see, and break down in tears as person B describes what person A really looks like.
