fun fact: while rey is technically immortal ( in the sense that fire doesn’t harm her in her human form && she’s very nearly indestructible in her dragon form, she’s vulnerable to every other form of attack that’s not fire in her human form ) && does not age past a certain point, most scenarios in my headcanons for her see her not living to see her 30th birthday.

honestly, it just sad?? because she knows she’s immortal, && her biggest fear is growing up && watching all of her loved ones age && die, && she’ll be left alone. but that never happens. a girl this self-sacrificing, this desperate to never watch a loved one leave her again, cannot survive. she was always meant to die protecting someone she loves. so she’ll never lose another loved one, but her loved ones will always lose her.
