modern society rants: introduction.

honestly this is just a simple rant about what -in my opinion- I think is wrong with society as a thirteen year old who has strong beliefs on feminism.

just to clear the meaning of the word feminist or feminism:

feminism-the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.

feminist-a person who supports feminism.

both of these terms do not imply that women hate men or have some type of goal to overthrow the so called              ‘alpha males’. 

even though I am living in the UK I understand what goes on in the USA because women experience the same things over here as well.

 Donald Trump,since he had been elected for president has impacted women and men around the world. in 2017 the president brought back the global gag rule to prevent women and girls deciding what they want to do with their own bodies; it has affected the freedom of women and girls who had been promised access to all heath benefits.

The movements such as SHE DECIDES and The Women’s Marches have brought together women,men and the LGBTQ+ community to stand up against this. These movements show that we will not be brought down by the fragility and ego of a patriarchy.

I do have much more to say on this topic but I'll leave that for another time

The Global Fundraising Initiative She Decides is an initiative of Lilianne Ploumen, Netherlands minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation. The aim of this Initiative is to join forces in support of the right of women and girls to decide, freely and for themselves, whether, when and how many children they have.
