best boy in woman's march
like if you save
modern society rants: introduction.
honestly this is just a simple rant about what -in my opinion- I think is wrong with society as a thirteen year old who has strong beliefs on feminism.
just to clear the meaning of the word feminist or feminism:
feminism-the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.
feminist-a person who supports feminism.
both of these terms do not imply that women hate men or have some type of goal to overthrow the so called ‘alpha males’.
even though I am living in the UK I understand what goes on in the USA because women experience the same things over here as well.
Donald Trump,since he had been elected for president has impacted women and men around the world. in 2017 the president brought back the global gag rule to prevent women and girls deciding what they want to do with their own bodies; it has affected the freedom of women and girls who had been promised access to all heath benefits.
The movements such as SHE DECIDES and The Women’s Marches have brought together women,men and the LGBTQ+ community to stand up against this. These movements show that we will not be brought down by the fragility and ego of a patriarchy.
I do have much more to say on this topic but I'll leave that for another time

with an election year rolling up on us, here's a quick reminder of the terror and outrage that spread through so many americans, and the stand they took to make their voices heard. at women's march in Tucson, AZ, I saw individuals of all kinds moving in a cohesive wave of chanting and colorful signs, swaying high like kites. i found myself standing in a sea of strangers and yet, i had never felt more safe. in any direction i looked, there was an inividual; gay, straight, nonbinary, men, women, young children, elderly black men, badass hispanic ladies, flamboyant queers, immigrants facing loss of citizenship, native water protectors, the wheelchair bound, the service animals, the people. individuals like these do not just make up the beautiful community of the southeastern city i call home, they make up every community, in every city and town accross this nation. we are the women, the people of color, the disabled, the LGBTQIA+. we are the marginalized, the forgotten, the hated heathens of our country. we are humans and we are loud, we scream with passion for equality, and no hateful president or selfish government will ever silence that. please remember to vote in your local elections. please remember to support politicians of color, female politicians, queer politicians, those who have experienced the struggle and want to create change. do not let this country turn it's back on its own people again. we are human, we deserve to be alive, we deserve to be here. m.malanowski http://michellelouisephotography.tumblr.com/
