Out of nowhere, as he wanders down the street, Rock stops. 

He isn’t sure what prompted him to do so-- only that he felt something strange, something peculiar...a sense of presence; a familiar one. Unconsciously, he finds himself turning in a certain direction. 

Don’t do this to him. Don’t give him that hope.

And yet, he can’t stop himself. A quivering hand slowly creeps up to the dial on his helmet’s ear.

One of his communication channels just came back online.

He runs.

He runs as fast as he possibly can in the direction the sensation came from.
