You’re legitimately sending the writer obsessed with sirens... the emoji for siren. Amazing.

Celia is the main Mist siren character that the reader gets to meet in the Anchored Souls series! Lia only really speaks in one or two words, but their singing is powerfully hypnotic and can lure in the most stubborn of sailors. They actually use their voice to attempt to lure in Phoenix to an untimely death--we’re lucky Celestine, as another siren, is immune, and is able to snap her out of it!

9. What are your favorite non musical sounds?

I’m going to sound super cliche when I say this -- but my favorite non musical sounds would be a cat purring, light tapping, and fire crackling! They’re soft to be tolerable and don’t cause a major sensory overload for me. Noises make me stressed, especially if they’re load and repetitive.

My eyes began to see things in the dim light, in the shadows caused by the small amount of muddled sunlight that streamed through the tiny window during the day. Swimming lines and shapes. A person standing in the dark just out of view. Sometimes I would close my eyes just to be rid of them.

Of course you can! I’m always happy to bring out Scarlet, especially since I feel I haven’t been talking about them much these days! And yay for Scarlets, of all the spellings! :D

“Old and stuck in bed. I’ve spent enough time holed up in one area, I don’t need it to happen again! Besides, if I end up stuck in some random village, you can bet it won’t be willingly, so, like... that’s a thing.

“Although I don’t mind the old part so much. I’d like to survive my adventures to brag about them! Just... I don’t want to be so old that I’m stuck in bed, in a tiny little place like back home. Unless I can still torment Teddy. That might be fun.”

How Cuddly Are Your OC’s?

Rules: for each of your OCs, rate how cuddleable they are on a scale of 1-10. Descriptions/elaborations are totally rad, but you do you, fam. Tag some people you like after!

I’ll answer for Ice’s Land! (Note: All of this is platonic)

Icelyn: 1/10 - Don’t engage. Even try cuddling and she will fight you. Only exceptions are Kal’s little siblings. They’re the only people she knows who don’t look at her in fear and she doesn’t want to mess that up.

Kal: 9/10 - He loves cuddling. Being the biggest and oldest of many siblings, he’s an easy cuddler and it really confuses people as nothing else about him is ‘easy.’ (Docking one point simply because after a spoiler a few years back he wasn’t as big on cuddling for a while.)

Yana: 8/10 - She’s not a big cuddler, but if she allows it, then she’s one of the best! She kinda like a panda - cute and cuddly <3 (But don’t tell her that. She’s the personification of the (ง'̀-'́)ง emoji)

Jack: 7/10 - Okay, so Jack wouldn’t be a bad cuddler but I don’t know if this man has ever cuddled in his life. He’s very job orientated and even though the Tavern Gang doesn’t require his expertise all of the time, he’s still there anyway. He works in his free time because he wants to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ivan: 5/10 -  You have never seen a more awkward cuddler. He’s not really sure how it all works. He’s worked around Icelyn and other members of a gang for years - he works in a bar. Not exactly a place where you learn how to properly cuddle.

Claire: 9/10 - ...actually I think she’d not only enjoy cuddling but I think she’d be good at it! She has no care for her own personal space and can usually be seen at the Tavern with her arm around someone’s shoulder. It’s never been a problem. She’s one of the only people who can get away with it.

Rune: 2/10 - Not really his style. He prefers to talk to people and keep a distance of about two feet in between him and whoever he’s with. So, no. No cuddles here.

Oh my stars I got Rose for this one.

So, uh. Rose has three settings. One: Following all the proper formalities required of her, especially according to her rank, but nothing more than necessary. Honestly, she’s rather crass. Two: Sucking up to her superior because she wants something. And, uh...

And... three: being a psychopath that uses ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ in a very child-like excitement to ask her captain if it’s okay to decapitate you.
