it wasn’t something NEW to the either of them. sheri sits between his legs, reading something on her kindle -- doing homework, & matthew rests his back against the edge of his bed, arms around her & clasping his controller in front of her waist. playing video games, instead of being a studious person. it’s one of these particular days where sheri didn’t have enough homework, or enough entertainment of her own, that she watches him play. warning him of this or that she may have saw on the mini map. it’s fucking adorable, frankly & matthew wishes it could be like this always. ( or wishes he could trust her to play with him without destroying his score. ) even that reaches a maximum, as the game becomes less action & more story. he can tell she’s getting antsy. & after this level, he’d take her out for ice cream, or coffee -- just so she wasn’t bored out of her pretty head. instead, she decides to become the worst human being, turning to face him. a bigger distraction than if a llama walked through the door. ❝ sheri -- ❞ he warns, because she KNOWS what she’s doing. & when her lips meet his jaw, the taylor boy could lose it. teeth bite his tongue to keep himself from saying -- or DOING -- anything. almost done with the level, matt, be head strong -- ignore the redness in his cheeks, & how her antsy - ness is now transferred to him. he even has to STRAIN his eyes to keep them from glancing at her & not the tv. what a fuckin’ tease.
