Hi! 👋 I just wanted to say how much I love your art style. It's an absolute joy whenever one of your pieces shows up on my feed, it genuinely brightens my day. :)

Maybe you could draw one of the LU boys (of your choosing) in your favorite BOTW/TOTK armor set?

I’m glad you felt comfortable enough to send this ask (even anonymously, cause that still takes courage) because it really just made my day 🥰 It makes me so happy to hear that you love my art so much and that it brings you so much joy whenever I post new pieces, that’s all I could ever hope for!

This one was definitely a toughie, picking a favorite from the two games is difficult cause there are a small handful of armor sets that I like for different reasons, but I decided that I’d draw my favorite armor set function-wise for this one so here’s Time in the stealth set!!

When I’m not trekking through the Hebra Mountains, in/around Zora’s Domain, or need to enter Gerudo Town, I will wear the stealth suit 90% of the time I’m doing anything. It made the game a lot easier for me in the beginning when I was terrified of absolutely everything that attacked me (even red bokoblins, I don’t play a ton of games with combat in them) so the stealth set made me feel braver just walking around because it wasn’t as likely I would get noticed with it on. I’ve gotten more used to the enemies since then, as well as have the Master Sword so I don’t have to worry as much about not having a weapon available, but it still just kind of gives me peace of mind

Plus, the set bonus of increased night speed is so useful?? I tend to not really have my Wild sleep a whole lot in my playthrough so that means it’s about 50/50 that it’s nighttime when I’m exploring and the set bonus really can really make a difference in how much ground I’m able to cover. So overall it just has the most versatility for what I need, and I thought Time would be the perfect one to draw in it!! I can’t help but think he looks a little familiar.. 🤔

(I was also going to draw Wild in my favorite set from TOTK in addition to this one but I figured I could always do it later and it’s actually just the shirt in particular that I like rather than the full set, so it wouldn’t really be meeting the prompt. But if anyone wants me to make that drawing, you can definitely incentivize me doing so by requesting it 👀)

Stealth set Suit early planning

The initial conundrum with planning the tailoring of the suit is how to put it on. The mechanics of the game split all the armor sets into three pieces. A head piece, upper body and lower body. Works as a game mechanic but only a few sets look like they could be remade and have their splits be in the places they exist in game. the two extreme assumptions that could be made is the the cloth parts of the stealth set, ignoring the black undersuit, is all one piece of colorful padding, or that every seam denotes a separate piece of clothing. neither of those assumptions would be practical for me to work off of. It makes sense to me based on the visuals to split the suit into three main pieces. The shoulder piece an extended turtleneck that covers the lower face, the shoulder piece includes the sleeves on the arms and perhaps the gloves. The chest piece seems to have two layers. the top layer works like a reverse vest with the fastener on the back set over a bottom layer that would be worn like a tank top under the shoulder piece, it also extends underneath the leg pieces. The leg pieces from visual in game are comprised of a pair of shoes and a pair of disconnected pants that are worn over the shoes. A situation where using 'pant' as a singular noun would work so I'm going to do it until I find out what the official term for it is. So the Cloth oversuit gets split into three sections. Turtleneck shawl The only question I have with this one is whether or not to have the gloves attached or not, and if they are not attached where does the glove end and the shawl begin. Reversed Vest Tanktop I'm most worried about the sheikah symbol. How to keep it from distorting if stretched. I have ideas but nothing certain.

Two non-paired pants The cloth portions of the Sheikah set consist of White wrappings, the blueish outer layer and a black undersuit. but the outer layer seems to have layers of it's own. These are most visible at the crook of the elbow and back of the knee. I know how I will be handling the elbow with either option I have, but the back of the knee makes me question. Are the shoes Knee highs?
