my mother says when i was younger i could see them, and one time her cousin died in a car accident and lost a leg, but they obviosly didnt tell me that bc i was like 5yo or less. so i went to my mom some time after the accident and said "uncle told me he is ok, and that he leg is better now" and she freaked out lol (i'm used to call all my relatives who are older than me "uncle/aunt", even not being really my uncle/aunt)
