heh. I blame being a console player, but let’s be real, even if could always have taken screenshots, I would still be taking screenshots, because I never get tired of pictures of my darlings. :D

SHE IS SO PRECIOUS OH MY GOODNESS go you! I thought about correcting the things I got wrong with Isabelle the first time due to rushing-through-the-CC-before-the-game-crashes-itis...but then she wouldn't be her dwarfishly adorable self.
Well ... I didn’t so much want to “correct” as when I followed my screenshots of her sliders etc. she didn’t look right so I had to tweak and the end result required a different base mouth in order to have something that worked.
BUT THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH (I like all our weird faces, honestly, it’s fun seeing them all across my dash. Though obviously the PC ones have better hair. And usually better skin. :P)

Well, written a LITTLE, I was thinking. Not too much, or then the limitations are frustrating. :) Though DAI is so open/has so much unstructured time, I don't know, maybe that makes it easier? I haven't written much for it yet, because baby. Someday!
DAI is ... too open? It’s hard for me to find a framework to hang my fic off of ... though too closed is also impossible to find a weak spot for the hook, so, you know. It’s a balance. Or something. I’m hoping the DLC will tie off the end enough that I can get a bit more of a goal for my characters figured out, so they’re easier to write.
And idk, my relationship between game and writing is usually tenuous at best, despite repeatedly trying to play fic characters. I mean, my only complete playthru of DAO wasn’t even Ingva. (Though she was a Brosca who romanced Alistair, so ... similarities, at least.)
Oddly enough, I think the screenshots are a big part of the difference? As soon as my game characters are people I can actually /share/ they have more weight? More solid both in my head and in my descriptions, or something like that. (Maybe I’ll manage a head that looks like Adelaide this time, and then I can finally spam you all with Adelaide pictures, too? OH, that’d be nice. For me, anyways. *snorts*)
