It’s a rainy sunday, the perfect day to laze around on the couch, watch movies and drink something warm as the hours pass by, and that’s exactly what they’ve been doing for the whole afternoon. Taeil has known Hana since they were very young, they were pretty much raised together, and for that reason they’ve become really close friends with time — she’s a sister for him, and he does his best to take care of her like an older brother would.
After many movies that he’s chosen ( mostly horror and action movies ), Hana chooses an emotional movie to watch together. That’s definitely not the type of movie Taeil would want to watch, but he does it to spend time with his roommate and sometimes when his boyfriend chooses those types of movies too. He doesn’t dislike them, but he also isn’t a big fan.
By the end of the movie, he hears some sniffles next to him, and when he looks at her and sees the tears running down her cheeks, Taeil chuckles and touches her shoulder. “Aww, Hana... Don’t cry, it’s just a movie.”
She lets out a quiet chuckle, and starts wiping her tears with the sleeves of her sweater. Taeil doesn’t really know what to do at that moment, so he just stares at her and waits for a sign, anything that could give a hint to what he should do. He wants to comfort her, but he isn’t sure if she wants it.
“Hugs,” she says, already moving towards him with open arms. “I demand hugs.”
Taeil laughs a little and wraps his arms tightly around her, giving Hana a tight and very reassuring hug, doing his best to comfort her after the sad scenes of the movie.
“There, there.” He whispers and rubs her back, pressing a soft kiss on her cheek. “Don’t cry, I hate seeing you cry. I will cry too, seriously... Don’t cry, nerd.”
