Smoked Brisket Shepherd’s Pie with Jalapeno Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

So yesterday, my mom and I had a girl's day out after a really long time. And this is what I feasted on!

Picture 1: A beautiful slice of Shepherd's Pie topped with a smooth and aromatic gravy that soaked the pie crust and made it that much more flavourful. To accompany that were some pickled onions and a slice of garlic bread toasted to perfection with some French butter.

Picture 2: Nothing better than a slice of chocolate fudge cake with glossy chocolate sauce drizzled on top of it and a luscious scoop of vanilla ice cream to compliment the warm cake.

That meal was so delectable, that I would have loved to have more. But my stomach didn't permit it.

Also I hadn't had dinner last night. Whoops! Sorry Mom!
