Done a Shertrek AU? With the Sherlock characters as Star Trek charactors, I mean. Cause they line up almost perfectly. Mary Watson as Nurse Chapel. John as Bones. Mrs. Hudson as Uhurah (cause of the gossiping/keeping lines open), LeStrade as Scotty, Moriarty as KHAN and Sherlock as Spock. But I can't think who would be Kirk. Only flaw in the plan! Unless you cross time streams and Picard is the captain, then Mycroft could be captain. 'Cause Mycroft is too introverted for Kirk's antics. Actually I think it would be a cool AU if no one's written it. You could also play with different cast in Star Trek or indeed cross timelines. How would Sherlock deal with T'Pol in the middle of Pon Farr? Or with a mind meld for that matter? How would John deal with a naked blue alien? Or Worf? I can see all sorts of possibilities in that direction. I can't imagine that it hasn't been written about before.
