Gambison - 🇨🇵 Croquis / Sketch 🇬🇧 🇨🇵 Autant j'ai une armure en cuir depuis quelques temps, autant je n'ai pas ce qu'il faut pour aller en dessous en dehors d'une chemise. Sauf que même si l'armure n'est pas tellement historique, ce n'est pour autant pas très logique de ne rien avoir en dessous en guise de protection. Ou tout simplement pour absorber les chocs. Etant donné que je sais maintenant coudre des vêtements, et que j'ai le matériel pour surtout, il était plus que temps de remédier à cette incohérence. Ça fait des années que j’enchaîne les croquis pour savoir comment construire mon gambison. J'hésitais entre quelque chose d'un tant soit peu réaliste ou quelque chose de purement cosmétique. Puis on m'a offert une chute de tissu qui à mon sens, pouvait fonctionner donc je suis partie sur la seconde option. 🇬🇧 As much as I've had leather armor for a while, I don't have anything to wear underneath besides a shirt. Except that even if the armor isn't that historical, it doesn't make much sense to have nothing underneath as protection. Or simply to absorb the shocks. Since I now know how to sew clothes, and I have the material to do so, it was high time to remedy this inconsistency. I've been sketching for years trying to figure out how to build my gambit. I was hesitating between something a little realistic or something purely cosmetic.
