I cried last night, and I cried on my walk to class today. What happened last night was wrong, and the country knows it. We are not powerless, although it may feel that way. Continue to fight for the programs and movements you believe in. Donate both your time and your money, if you can, to help those programs and movements. Recognize your privilege and use it to help those that need it. Do not give up. Keep fighting.

At a loss.

In my 14.5 years as a parent i have never been at a loss for words as to what to tell my 4 children when they have come to me with a question.

This morning they are all looking to me for an answer as to how Trump got elected… how America let this happen?

And I have No.Words.

Do you know how unsettling it is to look at your children and tell the love didn’t trump hate?

That the bully won?

All I can say is we pull ourselves up, dust ourselves off and keep fighting for what is right.

If we quit now they win.
