My beloved Sea Wees and Shimmers!

As a little girl I was dying for a mermaid doll to play with. As it was the late 70s, there weren't any mermaid dolls. Ariel was 10 years away in the future, though I was very familiar with the story of The Little Mermaid.

Then Kenner released the Sea Wees; cute mermaid dolls meant to be tub toys. Despite the absolutely awful hair and fragile neck connection, I absolutely loved these dolls. I still do!

Featured in the foreground are the Shimmers, which came along in the 80s. These were not bathtub toys, and included other fantasy creatures!

At least we get to see the og shimmers as friends again, so that's nice.

Anyway, that's the end of my review. It was a pretty good episode, and I recommend watching it. I really liked that the og shimmers reunited and became friends again. That's all I have to say. I hope you all enjoyed my review, and I will see you all later.
