Karasu — Heaven by Bryan Adams. My dearest Karasu is deeply shaped by the sense of “mediocrity” he feels, and yet he fails to realise that all of those characteristics, those fears and insecurities he carries, are what makes him simply him. I see him as a yearner, someone who falls hard and deep. The song explores the intensity and security of a love that is all consuming. The metaphor of “paradise” speaks to that sense of peace, comfort and absolute completeness that comes with being held by the person you love. He would give that to someone, fully and without reservation, if only he believed he had something worth giving.
Yukimiya — Bloom by The Paper Kites. When I think of Yuki, I think of that moment in shojo anime and manga when the protagonist turns around and has their first shared look with the love interest. Sparkles everywhere, the focus entirely on the other person, everything else fading into background noise. The gentle, weightless melody of this song captures exactly that feeling. Warm and a little breathless, like the beginning of something that could change everything.
Bachira — Tú y Yo by La Misma Gente. Playful, high melody just like him. Bachira’s playfulness and kindness will reflect into his relationships, especially romantic ones. Aryu — Ma Chérie by Malice Mizer. If you know vkei I don’t think I need to explain why I chose this for my vkei king. In case you aren’t familiar with the genre though: the song is theatrical and dramatically glamorous. It’s considered by some, to be the quintessential Malice Mizer love song. With its bright, sweeping melody and lyrics dedicated to an absent beloved, it carries this delicate, almost aching sense of longing underneath all the glamour.
Aiku — Romantic Seasons by LAREINE. Aiku is a hard one. The more I look into his character, the more I get the sense that he carries this profound loneliness he tries to fill by moving from partner to partner, without ever really succeeding. This song isn’t a love song in the traditional sense. It’s built around the exploration of loneliness, intense yearning and emotional vulnerability, the deep ache of being surrounded by couples, the weight of societal pressure around love and I think it fits him perfectly.
Nanase — Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer. Rich, dreamy, full of the excitement and naivety of young love and all its magic. The fairytale romance, the sense of longing paired with that completely open, unadulterated tenderness in its imagery, it fits Nanase’s warmth and sincerity so well. He has probably been a hopeless romantic his whole life without quite knowing what to do about it, and this song is exactly that.
Otoya — She’s Electric by Oasis. The whole point of this song can be summarised simply as: a cheeky, eccentric girl and her scandalous family, and the man who is absolutely infatuated with her. The girl is unpredictable and exciting, thrilling to be around. And yet the narrator still needs more time to commit. Like Otoya and his noncommittal ass <3
Barou — Italian king; after that offer from Ubers you know he got down to business learning Italian. Hence why I chose Parlarmi d’Amore by Negramaro for him. The song is an anthem of complete emotional surrender. It revolves around the visceral need for a love that is all-consuming, one that can free the soul, overcome every fear and make the outside world fall away entirely. That is Barou, the one who’s absolute in everything he does, on and off the field. If he loves someone, it will be the same way he plays: total, with no half measures, no holding back. (Please marry me Barou 😫)
Hiori — My Love Mine All Mine by Mitski. He was raised to be a vessel for other people’s ambitions, loved for his talent, never for himself. He doesn’t even like football, not really, and yet here he is. The song is about wanting to hold something so privately it becomes entirely yours, something no one can take or measure or expect things from. “Nothing in the world belongs to me / but my love, mine, all mine.” For a boy who has had very little that was truly his, love would feel like that. Precious. Almost too precious to say out loud.
Sendou — She Looks So Perfect by 5 Seconds of Summer, aka also known as “Sendou’s anthem”. This man received 88 Valentine’s chocolates, turned down his childhood friend because she “wasn’t cute,” and describes his own weakness as having a glass heart. Someone looking so perfect they short circuit all that bravado completely? That is the most Sendou thing I can imagine. The song is young, wild and a little unhinged, entirely sincere underneath all of the noise. (On that end soon to come a in-depth analysis about Sendou 🫡)
Raichi — Only Angel by Harry Styles. Because Raichi is loud and feral and relentless and the absolute last person you would expect to be completely levelled by someone. And yet... “She’s an angel, only angel.” The swagger, the almost bewildered devotion, the sense of someone so chaotic falling genuinely and helplessly in love. That is Raichi. Screaming it at the top of his lungs, absolutely zero shame. After all he is the same guy whom for “what’s your fetish” he answer “myself” in the egoist bible. Truly living up to his word.
Isagi: isagi is last because I don’t really have an actual answer for him. I have been debating between Cosmic Love by Florence + the Machine or Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls for days now, without really deciding on an answer. Let me hear what yall think about it!! :)

A random thoughts about them as a real team
• Everything in Ubers is scheduled literally down to the minute. Even rest time. Especially rest time. Discipline and order, but not to an extreme.
• Snuffy can suddenly start explaining tactics in the middle of lunch using napkins, forks, or literally anything he can get his hands on. In a way, it’s also entertainment for him.
• Baro gets annoyed when someone touches his stuff. Even a glass being moved by accident irritates him. He’s a perfectionist to the core in that regard, so living with his teammates hasn’t been easy for him. At the same time, Baro is one of the cleanest people on the team. When it comes to personal comfort around others, he prefers Niko’s company the most because he’s the least troublesome.
• Aiku is the one who lightens the mood most often with jokes and humor, no matter the situation or who he’s talking to. Humor will save the world.
• Aiku loves throwing his arms over other people’s shoulders even when they clearly don’t want him to. He genuinely cannot live without physical contact and clings to literally everyone without exception, which sometimes gets him smacked for it.
• Aryu spends more time on his hair than some people spend training. Surprisingly though, he’s never late, because being late is not stylish.
• Aryu carries skincare and hair products even to away matches, which constantly leads to ridiculous situations. But that’s not even the worst part… Aryu still doesn’t know his own teammates secretly steal his products.
• Niko is constantly on his phone or analyzing something. He does listen to everything happening around him, but it’s easier for him to exist in the team while pretending to be deeply busy or detached.
• Niko somehow constantly gets dragged into arguments just by walking past. People always use him as a third party and “the rational perspective,” even if he didn’t witness the argument at all. “Niko, tell him!”
• Sendou suggests ordering food more than anyone else. It’s not even that he dislikes the local food, he just likes the whole “come on, let’s order something” vibe.
• Sendou is always trying to drag someone out to hang out after practice. He likes wandering around in groups. (Baro almost always refuses, but sometimes still goes anyway while pretending he was forced.)
• Ubers gets really quiet in the evenings. Everyone’s so exhausted that the only energy left is for scrolling on their phones or sleeping.
• Aiku sometimes blasts music way too loudly and immediately gets annoyed looks from half the team.
• Snuffy genuinely makes sure they eat and sleep properly. (Which is exactly why they sleep like logs, and why Shuto constantly gets yelled at for ordering garbage food.)
• If someone is hiding an injury, Marc notices almost immediately. He knows his players too well and can tell when they’re lying, faking, or pretending.
• The team has this weird habit of gathering in the kitchen late at night before bed, even when nobody is hungry.
• Baro complains about everyone more than anyone else, but if an outsider starts criticizing Ubers, he’s the first one to defend the team. Only he’s allowed to talk badly about those idiots cuz he’s the one playing and suffering with them, not some random guy.
• Niko and Aryu sometimes discuss other people’s weird habits like they’re conducting scientific research. For Niko it’s more like analysis and discussion, while for Aryu it’s intellectual gossip.
• Sendou loves taking candid pictures of the team. He’d never admit it, but those moments are important to him. (Although photographing these guys is a nightmare. Niko avoids cameras like the plague, Aryu constantly jumps into frame but then starts asking “Do I look good?” and begs for retakes, and convincing Baro to take a photo is basically nine circles of rejection.)
• Either way, half of Sendou’s gallery is just blurry pictures of a tired Baro.
• Aiku can fall asleep literally anywhere. He’s not picky at all.
• The scariest thing for the team is Snuffy’s disappointed look.
• Despite all the arguing and clashing personalities, Ubers still feels like a very organized and mature team. Even when they act like idiots.
For this matchup I have decided to do things a bit differently, (and to apologise for the tardiness) since I couldn’t choose between two characters, I matched you with both ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

At first glance this might seem surprising, I know. But Sebek is actually a deeply fitting match. Sebek has immense respect for discipline, sincerity, and genuine strength of character. Tilli, you’re honest, of calm nature and have zero tolerance for pretense, which would earn his deep admiration since he has no patience for fakeness either.
Your strength (like carrying heavy things despite looking delicate) would genuinely impress and confuse him in the best way. I think this aspect of yours would remind of him of a flower. Flowers can withstand even the harshest weather, looking bright and delicate during and even after the storm has passed. He would have enormous respect for you.
Your patience is perhaps the single most important factor as Sebek needs someone who won’t flinch at his intensity. some thoughts/headcanons i had while drawing this:
since snuffy treats football as a job, i thought it would be in character (and very cute) if he gave his players mandatory rest days
these rest days aren't only when they dyed barou's hair but also when they have sleepovers n hang out!!
sleepover nights are arranged by aryu and sendou-- aryu does the decorating while sendou gets the snacks, chooses the movies, etc.
niko and aryu are watching puella magi madoka magica on niko's laptop. so far, mami is aryu's fav
niko's laptop has a sayaka miki sticker and a very off brand banana fish sticker that someone got him
sendou is always the first to fall asleep and every time the other members stuff a pillow under his head & throw a blanket on him. he's a heavy sleeper so once he's out, he's OUT
the plushies niko and aryu are holding belong to sendou
aiku looks like he's texting a girl & everyone assumes so but rly he's just watching baby animal tiktoks (usually baby chicks). sometimes niko gets nosy to see what he's doing and every time he gets whiplash
aryu painted everyone's nails black !!! though he made his own nails look a lil fancier because its ~osha~
barou is invited to everyone of these sleepovers but he rarely comes willingly, aiku and lorenzo usually drag him into this mess
in the drawing, barou's returning from a quick bathroom break or smth and while he was gone, lorenzo took his chances and brought out the popcorn
lorenzo is a messy eater so popcorn crumbs r everywhere..... barou hates it sooooooooooo much
HOWEVER in the drawing the popcorn mess isnt entirely from messy eating!! the real reason is lorenzo got bored and started bouncing popcorn off of sendou's forehead (his ass is NAWT waking up)
after having enough sleepovers, everyone kinda has their own spots & usually when barou is there, he's between aiku and niko-- he's cool being around them bc they usually just keep to their phones/laptops
^^ this doesnt stop lorenzo from throwing popcorn at him tho LMFAO and that's when aiku becomes not only the final wall for blue lock but the only wall between barou (becoming a murderer) and don "ace eater" lorenzo

I just wanted to pop in for a sec to say that for an indefinite amount of time I will step back from this blog. I won’t abandon it, I still have requests to write and some ongoing fics to edit/publish. I just don’t know when I will post them. It might be in two weeks time, or it might be in a few months even.
as of right now, I have exhausted my mental capacity. My burnout is hitting all at once, and I want to focus (as much as I can, at least) my remaining energy on my self for a while.
I do hope I can get those requests out to you all asap, but in the mid time, I hope everyone is doing well.
“Stop shouting Floyd, I am trying to study.” Your eyes don’t move from the paper in front of you, despite the loud, far too loud, obnoxious yelling of the bored eel sprawled across the Octavinelle common room’s couch.
“Aw~ c’mon, don’t be like that~ Turn around, gotta show you something. It’s important. Super important. Life or death important, Shrimpy.”

“Pleaseeeee~” his head was now tilted backwards on the arm rest of the couch, enough to look at you, for that foolishly fake pout to plaster on it.
“I can’t stand you, I swear if this is one of your antics—“ a half yelp left your lips as his arms encircled your waist pulling you down on top of him.
You should have seen this coming indeed. He was too giddy. Grin too wide.
“Don’t say anything…” he hushed, then added almost to himself, “you smell like that shampoo again, the one that smells like—” and then his lips were on yours and he was kissing you surprisingly slowly for being Floyd, whose whole life has been one long act of chaos.
Still, his lips taste of honey, giving you half idea of where that chapstick you had lost ended up. His hands are fixed on your lower back, slightly circling, gently touching. And yet it’s a firm touch as if to remind you, not that you needed it to, that he was there. Present.
“Mh.. you have been working too much lately..” he muttered against your lips, and then your skin, as the kiss ended and he started leaving kisses all over your face.
“Floyd—“ a chuckle betrayed you by escaping from your lips
“Ah, there it is,” he grinned, content, going back to leave a smooch on your lips once more before he murmured teasingly, “You’re so cute when you blush, Shrimpy.”
“Shut up.” You huffed embarrassed, obviously and loudly so. Face turning aside to avoid his far too amused eyes, his laugh filling the common room.
“Make me~” he sang, entirely too pleased with himself.
The books are momentarily forgotten on the table for now. Azul will probably tear you both a new one later, for being late for work at the lounge. And Jade will just stand there, seemingly nonchalant and yet far too amused to intervene because yes, this will be stored and used as blackmail material later on.
And perhaps you will come to regret this later. Or perhaps not.
For now, what matters is Floyd and his kisses, which are growing needier by the minute and you’re suddenly feeling at home once more.
