It fades out of sight, far far away, leaving me behind Now I can't quite see it anymore. The night crumbles apart. I shouldn't cry, I shouldn't cry. But the truth is I want to say out loud 'Don't go.' -- Ikanaide Yooo i am back again with a quick Shingen X MC fanart. inspired by the song 'Ikanaide' *iwanttocry*. If you look at this closely, Shingen is disappearing, along with the autumn leaves. (I feel like i needed to explain kk) its kind of shitty because i was carried away by the song *cries* hope you guys like it @kitty-kat-ty a decent shot dear ╥﹏╥

It took me a while but it’s finaly done! So Shingen’s kimono was inspired by his nickname - the Tiger of Kai -, which is why it has black tiger stripes. Both her hair and obi have flowers on it because of Shingen’s clothes, that are filled with flowers as well. Kenshin’s kimono, on the other hand, was inspired by the cherry blossoms, as well has the hairpin. The pattern you can see in the obi was made similar to the one in Kenshin’s coat. The palletes for both outfits were also based on their respective lords’ colors.

Kenshin/Shingen shenanigans

I THINK Kenshin/Shingen is my favorite too (although Hide/Inuchiyo is intriguing it is also depressing to me)

Like, it is like a straight up custody arrangement and it’s just a question of who is aware of the details XD

So you’re at Kenshin’s, and he dresses you up in a favorite kimono and does your makeup and hair and makes you very pretty, and then pouts that he has to let Shingen see you too (and you’re just like *sigh* I know you are as excited to see him as you are anything, let’s be honest here, I SEE THAT GLEAM) and Kanetsugu shows up with a packed bag of ACTUALLY USEFUL THINGS while Kenshin pouts MORE because that means Kanetsugu thinks he is gonna lose you (when really, he just knows how this pattern works)

And if you’re at Shingen’s it’s Saizo that shows up with the Iga equivalent of an energy drink and his sneaky little grin all, “Good luck, little lady” and you’re just like gdi of course he knows. Poor Yukimura is just like, “you’re always super tired when you come back, are you being treated for an illness? I hope you feel better soon!” (Cue snarky Saizo, “oh I’m sure she will be feeling very good, very soon”) When Shingen wins I feel like he probably tosses you over his shoulder and happily marches home. You get cradled bridal style once you’re back to the castle, but in terms of marching off from Kenshin this way you can kind of wave “bye for now see you next time” from that angle.
