Whenever I play games especially otomes I always love picking duo or 2 fave characters at once. That being said, since I never played ikesen before & now ikesen eien is almost coming out, there are 22 characters to choose from, so I'm kind of confused on which 2 pairs shall I pick -
Should I go for Saizo & Kenshin?
Mitsuhide & Rikyu?
Or Shingen & Kanbei?
These 3 seems to be of my interest so far just by looking at them. I saw the standard cards of them & wow Shingen & Kanbei really have big abs & muscles, they must be oldest ones no?
Kenshin & Saizo looks like the mysterious quiet guys whereas Rikyu & Mitsuhide looks like the sneaky, flirty and trickery type.
Yet I don't know anything about these 6 characters. Any Idea how they are like? Also if I need to look out for any noncon/dubcon can you let me know that too?
Thanks!
Hello, Precious! I’m so excited for the new IkeSen app to come out next month! I keep going back and forth between which new warlord I want to start with.
@silkkorchid (chime in, please? 🥺) just posted a gentle CW about Rikyu’s route, though, so I may start with him just to see what’s going on. I still have my eye on Saizō, though!
When I played Eien (I selected pretty boy Yoshiteru), I didn’t get very far, so I only have a shallow impression of the new guys. I’ll be going in fresh alongside the rest of you lovelies.
From the warlords you have paired up, they seem to have slightly different personalities and mindsets.
Here is Kanbei’s official description:
IkeSen Outfits: Uesugi-Takeda Forces
Oda Forces | Independent Forces | Ashikaga Forces
Fashions in order: Battle Gear, Kimono, Celebration, Card
further developing akuno's design
千葉真一 Sonny Chiba
武田信玄 Takeda Shingen 1991
One of my favorite Male characters in Fate/Grand Order is Takeda Shingen/Takeda Harunobu (Rider). And honestly it's less because of his (awesome) design and more how they choose to represent him. Reading his lore made me appreciate him even more. I'm a huge fan of japanese history, especially the Sengoku-Jidai, so the Guda-Guda Events are always a treat for me. But last year's Full Speed Ahead! Kawanakajima 24 Hours: GUDAGUDA Super Goryoukaku - Deadlier Than M51 Event will always have a special Place in my heart. Why? Because i used my Jalter to Farm the 90++ Node, but more importantly because of Kawanakajima. The five battles of Kawanakajima between Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen were some of the most shōnen battle coded events in history. And i love that Takeda Shingen's lore compares his wish to beat Uesugi Kenshin at least once to a squabble between children. While still maintaining a beautiful seriousness.
Their dynamic with it's strange lack of romance is one of my favorites in all of fate/go.
Historically the Takeda fell into ruin after Shingen's death. But Takeda Shingen's policies served as inspiration for Tokugawa Ieyasu. While a lot of his retainers swore allegiance to Tokugawa Ieyasu. Damn i wish the research on that was available in english, because i firmly believe that Takeda Shingen was extremely important for the founding of Tokugawa Shogunate. And not just because Kai and Suruga served as a means for Tokugawa to act independently following Oda Nobunagas death.
Like the Imagawa who also appeared in said event the Takeda belong to a group i dare to call "the loosers of the Sengoku-Jidai". Considering the Takeda served as the Lords of Kai since the founding of the Ashikaga-Shogunate in 1336, while the Imagawa were serving as the lords of Suruga since 1337. With both falling into near complete irrelevance during the Sengoku-Jidai.
