shinran week day 1: mutual pining

THAT'S RIGHT MY FELLOW SHINRANLINGS

somehow my brainrot has led me to this point... it's only the first day but this took me like 8 hours to make. I want to strangle krita's animation curves and i'm sure that my laptop would like to strangle me as well :). After making this i almost immediately burnt out so do not expect this level of effort from me ever again.

i'm gonna gas myself up but like i am quite proud of this one even if you can tell i was running out of steam at the end. I particularly like the first part with all the shadow thingies or whatever. Also ran in the tropical land outfit is just way too cute i love her.

Ran: Wife from the Future (a ShinRan Sore: Wife from the Future AU)

context: this is based on a scene from an Indonesian movie about a woman who managed to go back time and goes on a time loop trying to prevent her husband's death. every time she's abt to "restart" or enter the next loop, her nose bleeds and she passes out (or dies no one really knows) and she'd wake up in her husband's bed some time before they met.

Although the prompt is mutual pining, I kind of envision this piece to set before ran realized she likes shinichi romantically because come on, the thought of the famous highschool detective acting like a hopeless romantic is too cute to pass!
