So, if you've been following over on Twitter, I completed my IDW2 catch up. ❤️

Definitely worth the read. Best done in chunks (which I've mentioned before in the far distant past it feels like). I'm deep enough in now that keeping up to date is not going to be a problem, I think.

Also, I am happily invested in the teasing of so many combiner teams! O.O The Enigma is not Lost, but lost. We've got two gestalts (three if you include Abominus) that are capable of combining in the Constructicons and the Technobots. The Combaticons and the Protectobots are both only missing one team member being outright acknowledged as part of the continuity canon (Brawl and First Aid, respectively—and I can't imagine those two not showing up soon enough).

Speaking of Protectobots, Streetwise. 💖 Just, Streetwise. The more I muse on him, the more I like this version of him. An older mech, former head of Sec-Ops, head of a Sec-Ops academy? He likely made the call to be replaced by Chromia as opposed to Prowl. He has connections to Smokescreen's goofy aft in Intelligence/Colonial Security/Xenorelations/whatever other "secret" service he can shove his nose into. This is a Streetwise that's older and Take No Shit. If it needs done, he's gonna do it. By himself, if he has to. (Least from what I've seen.)

Now, because of his official positions, I like to think he's probably got one of the best handles on just what Smokescreen gets up to. He brought Smokescreen in to do some work while he headed Sec-Ops, after all. Meaning, as confusing and convoluted as Smokescreen's job history is, Smokescreen possibly isn't quite as obfuscating and impenetrable about his doings and dealings around Streetwise. (Shoosh. Whether that's true or not, it works to my shipping sensibilities. And am I claiming another Streetwise pairing? You bet your ass I am.)

Honestly, right now, I'm all about Smokescreen finding himself a tired and overworked Streetwise, laying him down and "Shh, just let me do all the work, babe."

But, yeah. So, lots of good stuff overall, shippiness aside. 🤣

Also, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker both! Curious to see if they'll meet soon.

Also also, back to Streetwise, totally need to figure out how to make a smoosh happen with Thunderclash there. XD Totally different dynamic than IDW1 Thunderclash/Streetwise. ❤️

I need more Jazz and Prowl holding each other. Holding hands, cuddling on the couch watching a movie, snuggling in their berth, standing hugs, Jazz sitting in Prowl's lap, more hand holding, the you almost died but you didn't and now I have your helm in my lap thing, that thing where you hold both the other persons hands and touch forehelms, Jazz with his arm around Prowl as they walk. I love holding.

It’s been a fun and interesting Patch 5.3.  It was mostly framed by the FFXIVWrite2020 for me after the amazing and wonderful official ending of the Shadowbringers storyline.  I’m not sure what tomorrow will bring, but I know I’m going to have fun with it, soaking up the story the devs have given us and sharing reactions with my friends and FC.  The other thing 5.3 has brought me, is a replaying of most of Stormblood as my hubby has been going through it.  I can’t WAIT for him to hit Shadowbringers (and get to replay it myself!)  I’m excited to think by the next patch he MIGHT be caught up and I’ll get to go through it with him!!  Either way, it’s been a great few months, despite work and IRL bullshite,
