Shipt and Instacart provide better pay and benefits. But they could do better.

tumblr seems to be slow lately.

I've been planning my wedding. Nothing fancy its basically a family get together and I get to wear white! lol its pot luck style at a county park. only 30 ppl which are all family are invited.

I'm trying to find other ways to make extra income for this wedding though. If anyone knows of a remote job that is legit in the states please share with me.

I am currently staying home with our new puppy. So I'm doing doordash and shipt when I can. But I am looking for more money and more ways to get it. Share with me your ideas please and thank you in advance.

Just a PSA for people who use grocery shopping apps like instacart and shipt.

If you only have an order with a couple items, and you're going to cancel your order if one of those items is out of stock--please don't use the service to order them.

We drive there, search for the item, start shopping the other items and then you cancel, we often don't get paid the full amount we would have if you just let us finish the order. A lot of us drive from out of the area to do these orders, or even forego taking other orders because we have accepted yours.

Just started doing Shipt today, it's similar to Instacart. Or Doordash/GrubHub except for groceries. I made $60 on just three orders. Which is good when you don't actually have an income. I'm doing it again tomorrow and hoping to break $100 before payday. Cross your fingers my guys.

This is to ANYONE who uses a delivery service....

whether it be DoorDash, Postmates, UberEats, Grubhub, Instacart, Shipt, etc...make sure you TIP your delivery courier. Remember it is a SERVICE.

Please be mindful that these ESSENTIAL workers are:

not only driving to the establishment to retrieve your order

they are dealing with possible long lines

waiting for your order as it is still be prepared or shopping for your items

confirming your order is complete

placing your order it in a insulated travel bag for safe transport & temperature control

dealing with traffic to deliver your order in a timely manner

all while providing friendly & excellent customer service with a base pay of $2.00-$3.50 base pay per delivery.

Your tips help them not only earn a somewhat DECENT wage, but also helps them with their business expenses (i.e., fuel, car maintenance, car insurance, carwash, car registration, etc.) so they can continue to provide these services.

I use these services & on the flip side provide these services and nothing is more frustrating than to get an order, get to a restaurant and have to wait 10 minutes, FINALLY get the order, than arrive at an apartment complex 3.5 miles out & have your app NOT bring you to the EXACT location, so now your frantically searching to find the apartment in the allotted time frame, deliver it and see that you did ALL THAT for $2.50 base pay and NO TIP. 😠

We're all doing what we can to make ends meet & trying our best to navigate our way safely through this covid crisis. So again, just be mindful & kind.🙏🏼

SHIPT IS HIGH GUYS. I'm not spending $117.99 on 12 oz of cut cantaloupe...I LIKE cantaloupe...I don’t like it on a $117.99 level....

You know how you *should* tip at a restaurant. You should tip your delivery people. Especially during this pandemic. Our delivery platforms don't pay our gas, wear&tear on our vehicles, oil changes, the hassle of locating you if you/GPS give crap directions.

We're risking our health & wellbeing to make sure you're being taken care of to the best of our ability.

The *least* you can do is tip us & give us a good rating. Please do not rate less than the highest number available, your 3/5 might as well be a 1 with how corporate evaluates ratings.
