Thanks! It's all camera angles, and the fact that I have a folder with about 700 selfies worth of practice. And it is soft! I use good conditioner, and only shampoo every third day! It works miracles.

I don’t think the complimenting part is the problem, it’s just been associated with people going “oh hey your hair is pretty” & immediately reaching over to touch, so people just kind of expect that you’re about to touch them without asking.

It’s because a lot of people touch others’ hair without consent—particularly if they’re PoC, like black persons, and they kind of expect everyone to be okay with being touched and consider it rude for someone to pull away.

Just a tweak in definition. Asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction, not little/lack of desire to have sex. The desire to have sex can be tied to either a) libido, or b) things like wanting to have a child, being physically close to your partner(s), etc., all of which an asexual can feel. Some asexuals also want to have sex just to see what it's like, or because of libido. c: nonmonogamy is a pretty popular relationship style in the ace community. -from a polyamorous ace
