Children living near Japan's Sakurajima Volcano wear hard hats on their way to school to protect their heads from flying debris ejected by the volcano. Dust and ash from the continual eruptions cover the streets.

Some progress shots of Sakurajima. Can't believe I've been working on this world on and off for over a year now, but it's certainly starting to come together. Definitely a labour of love, but I can't wait to be able to play on my Japanese island!
