Today in the Horrors of the iOS Tumblr App, I present you:

The thrilling feature of stupid fucking video ads auto playing WITH THE FUCKING SOUND ON even though by default I have turned off ALL autoplay features including gifs because all that moving shit on my phone is fucking annoying. Not only, does the fucking sound starts but. Because I stream Spotify to my laptop speakers all work day, my phone is connected to my laptop via AirPlay or whatever. Guess what happens.

I’ll tell you what fucking happens: the sound of the stupid ad video INTERRUPTS MY MUSIC and!!!! The fucking video hijacks my laptop screen whilst auto playing, blocking, you know, what I am actually working on! So I have to hit escape on my laptop to banish the bullshit video. But! It gets even more amazing!!! Hitting escape to silence the video effectively disconnects the AirPlay connection from my phone, meaning I can’t just resume listening to my jams, I now have to manually reconnect AirPlay in Spotify.

Now I have to ask: how tf is this a feature? Do you really think hijacking my devices with your shitty ads is gonna make me want to click on that garbage. I really wish I was the fly on the wall for that particular project management meeting. I really want to hear the genius idea behind such an ILL CONCEIVED USER EXPERIENCE. Are all your project managers sociopaths or just tragically stupid?!

I mean my solution at this point is to never scroll through Tumblr while connected to my laptop, so congratulations I guess, for making me want to visit this hellsite LESS?!

Tumblr I was gone for two minutes messaging sky while on the toilet why'd you reload.

Incidentally running tumblr on Windows Subsystem for Android seems to never refresh (idk if the tumblr version matters but I think it is only months old).

Well, it never refreshes normally anyway. Seems like every few days WSA will just crash and take out every running app. And it seems like tumblr tends to be the instigator more often than not.

Also fuckers don't support keyboard navigation. Google has stuff on supporting keyboard navigation for devices with keyboards and to help accessibility. I tried arrow keys since that was mentioned as should go from element to element. IIRC all that happened was entire window had like a translucent white overlay, like the entire screen was selected as an element. Cmon!

Why are game store websites all so terrible. Like, why is word of mouth still the best way to find a shop in a new area? I want to know three things when I'm googling for a new shop: where you are, when you're open, and how much will it cost me to play. Your weekly schedule is largely useless until I know these things. Knowing the games you support is useful in addition to the above though.
