Hi!! Lurker here. I’m not 100% caught up yet but I’m really loving Dragon Moon! It’s interesting how you twist canon and your humor and characterization are SPOT ON. I especially love Zuko and Aang working together even as Zuko tries so hard to keep being Not Nice lolol. On that note, for the meme thing, can you answer 🌜 and 🌛? I’m on mobile and struggling so if it doesn’t come through it’s the response vs expected response ones!
☾: how i thought people would respond to the fic
i honestly had no idea how people would respond to dragon moon. if you write fanfic for a while, you begin to sorta feel out how each fandom responds and interacts with fanfic, and every time you foray into a new fandom its always a little different. dragon moon was my first atla fanfic, so i had that trepidation going for me. but i remember really enjoying that first chapter, and really enjoying my concept overall, and thinking ‘how could people possibly not love this???’ mostly because it was something that *i* loved and i have impeccable taste (lol)

dragon moon, in its inception, was absolutely NOT a popular story by any means. i mean, nowadays its a story with over 2000 kudos, and thats really crazy and amazing, but i dont think it took off very quickly... dragon moon is the fanfic where ive received the most unsolicited criticism out of any other story ive written. and ive certainly gotten some WEIRD comments now and again, too, but of course the vast amount of people ive interacted with are lovely, and i will never stop writing this story, because it is my beautiful child <3
