One of my coworkers bought one of our snakes, a chocolate ball python. She originally named him Lindor, after the truffle, but she didn’t like it and was looking for a different name. Naturally I suggested “Shnazzy McNoodle,” but she rejected my suggestion and named him Glen.

Whenever I see her I say “Hey, how’s Shnazzy McNoodle?” She use to say, “Well, Glen is doing fine,” but now she seems to have given up, accepted that I will only call him Shnazzy McNoodle. Soon she will surrender to me and call him by his true name.
