Another one that tickled me

For the exactly one year I worked at Chick-fil-A, I experienced a lot of entitled customers, and usually I couldn't do much about it but one time.

Once.

A lady comes in for her 10 o'clock catering order. She tells me she's here and I tell the kitchen. They tell me it will be two minutes.

She begins to huff and puff. I ask her, ma'am is there anything I can do for you?

She says "well I just don't understand. I told them I need it by 10, so why isn't it ready?"

I look at the clock. 9:57.

I look at her. Straight into her eyes. I say, with a smile, "it's not 10 o'clock yet, ma'am :)"

She did not like that. But she couldn't argue with me. So she just stood there with pursed lips.

Her order comes out one minute later, at 9:58. She walks out the door at 9:59.

I'm soooooooo glad we got her precious biscuits to her in time can you IMAGINE. Imagine us being late.

Cause that's what she did. She arrived early then decided we were late.

Bitch did you want us to make it 30 minutes early and let it sit there????

Person: "Have a good day. Actually wait a minute. You missed a bug, but I got you home boy. Hold on." he picks a bug up and throws it next to the frog.

Frog: turns around and eats the bug.

Person: "OHHHHH-" sings high pitched and angelic like he witnessed a miracle.

I have been enjoying seeing people experience food this World Cup

Indie walks are done. They did better one on one than together, shocking no one. But they were also already a bit tired so that's not entirely fair.

Three hours before I go to work for a ten hour shift.

1: walk with dogs 1 on 1, 15 minutes each. They already went on a walk all together.

2: do some dishes

3: feed the dogs

4: take care of reptiles

1.5 hours before I go to work.

Step 1: train the dogs for 5 minutes each. I'm going to work on walking out the front door nicely.

Step 2: shower

Step 3: clean kitchen a bit

Step 4: train the dogs for 5 more minutes each. Work on the down and touch commands.

Step 5: get ready to go :(

Really proud of Winter! She's gotten down really well. I'm working on moving up the hand signal, and reinforcing the verbal command.

Summer is doing well too, though she's started rolling on her side when she lays down.

And Hewitt is learning his name! He now knows if he looks at me when I say his name, he gets a treat. He seems to be very motivated!

Worked on the down command with all the dogs! They did great. Summer took awhile to figure it out, but she got it!

Hewitt, Winter, and Summer. I've had Winter since '22, Summer since '23, and Hewitt since yesterday :)

Winter and Summer have basic manners but don't know many commands, and get too excited.

I'm going to dedicate time each day to training each of them. And my goal is to be able to walk all of them together (already do this with Summer and Winter). And to bring them places!
