What a gem I found in my deviantart! Now who else has the hots for this sand shonin? LOL
Posting an artwork of mine back in 2013! Wow, what a year.
The redhead is my OC from Naruto - Shione. She comes from a fictional village Ashougakure in the Land of the Waves. Her fighting style is mainly elemental with the use of water, mixed in with Taijutsu (both contrasting in movements, but somehow she made it work.) Considered the genius ambassador, and sister of the Kage in the village, she goes from town to town, ensuring peaceful relations with her own.
Here’s a drabble about her character, and her relationship with Kankuro:
During the war between Leaf and Sand, Kankuro was injured and fell from a tree after Shino battled against him. Before hitting the ground, Shione rescues him and leaves him by the branch. About to leave, Kankuro lashes out a frustrated attack towards Shione and challenges her to a battle. Shione, who uses Water Techniques, had some difficulty because water was limited on tree branches. She condenses the water from the air, extracts the water from the trees, but other than these, there are no other sources of water to be found. Sensing her dilemma, Kankuro fiercely attacks with his weapons, severely injuring Shione. But ingeniously, Shione used her own blood (it has water molecules) to give the final blow to Kankuro. After the fight, in which she held back in order not to kill the Sand Shinobi, Shione offered a hand to Kankuro, showing her intentions of peace and order in the situation. This fight significantly changed their relationship. From being strangers to being close friends, Shione and Kankuro share a bond that bloomed from trust and camaraderie. ... Now I ship them because I can.
