“And this is the central dining room-” Dark mentioned as he walked in with a subtle, but genuine smirk, finding Shop quickly as she turned to him.

“Back already? Well I hope this person is ready to meet-!”

Stunned by surprise, Shop had no idea how to react to seeing Terri again, except to mutely return the small wave she had given in response to coming back. After a considerable amount of time had awkwardly past, Dark cleared his throat.

“I hope you don’t mind Terri staying with us for a bit. I’ve filled her in on everything, and, well I figured you would like some company who knows at least part of what you are going through~”

Do you think Terri is still a devil? I was also curious on how she was doing during before, y’know, when dark was a doll? (Your art is so amazing I love it so much!!)

“Sorry I’m not the most cohesive storyteller!!”

“No no, goodness!” Terri exclaimed. “It all sounds so intense, I can’t blame you for not being able to recall it all!”

“You sure you don’t wanna talk about it? I’ve been the one talking this whole time!” Shop offered, finally starting to relax in Terri’s presence.

“No no, I’m sure. It’s been fairly boring anyway, managering and whatnot, nothing exciting like what you’ve been getting into, please do go on!!”

Shop, does dark.... have a thing for you?

“Dunno how they’d feel about me in all honesty, but hey, a girl can dream...” Shop gets lost in her thoughts for the duration of the her check up with the Doc, who gave the nearby Dark a curious glance, in which he returned with a knowing shrug; his lips were sealed, knowing Shop would never live it down if he said anything prematurely, but thankfully so far this little bird seemed to have recovered ok, all that was left was her X-rays-

Do you feel all weird now? Like, do you still feel pain? Does your skin feel weird? I guess you didn't have a heartbeat or anything to begin with so that's probably not so different.

“BUMPER PUT HIM DOWN NOW!!” Shop shouted before the orange tabby dropped Dark and hopped down off the couch, only to meow and hop back up a little ways away to watch this curious thing.

“Sorry about that bud… are you hurt?….” she held a hand out to help prop Dark back up, who shook his head and rolled his shoulders.

“Wait, really? Nothing?” He shook his head. “Huh, guess that makes sense…”
