My raven Freyja has gone missing. I am deeply worried something must have happened to her. She always answers my calls, or waits for me in her usual spots. I don’t know what to do. The thought of my darling Freyja getting her wings injured in the woods frightens me to no end. I hope she is okay. I will update as soon as I get more information on her whereabouts.

Real world cultures I associate with Tolkien ones:

Māori - Uruk-hai. At least one of the actors for them came from this culture (race? idk how to put it), and I just—look it seems like an amazing culture so I want to research it.

Inca - The Noldor. I saw a post about jewelry hierarchy and went “INCA NOLDOR!!” But the forehead thing is kinda weird.

Scythian - The Rohirrim. They were ancient horse lords and their art looks a lot like Rohirric art so. There’s that.

Celtic - Melkor’s Maiar. Sauron has an Irish accent I decided. Also, I’m Irish! So I’m projecting! (And the mythology!)

Norse - The Valar and their Maiar? Celtic and Nordic cultures come in close proximity (geographically, and Viking raids). It makes sense.

Byzantine Empire - Númenor. That’s it. That’s all. That is the only thing. Thank you.

Can’t think of any more right now but let me know if you can/if you have any information on these cultures! I would greatly appreciate it!
