the fact that he gets unwillingly pulled into a long-standing cycle of violence by people more powerful than himself, and instead of falling in line and perpetuating it he says "No, I won't do it, and I won't let you do it." this, to me, is the most important part of his character, and overlooking it betrays a lack of understanding of the core text.
Am I the ass because I’m still salty about MM? Like how is it acceptable that it’s now 4 days before Christmas and it’s STILL not been started? I just don’t think it’s right for one of the most prominent Christmas events to be held off for so long. They’ve had a literal year to figure it out, and a post just saying UH OH ITS COMING SOON DW just doesn’t sit with me.
Two thoughts about the health of the community
1. How are some of the perennial shoutbox idiots not banned yet? It's been so many years of the same toxicity and moron comments out of Bath and cronies, and still nada. Should we assume it's the usual "shells out $300 a month on CSC and we're desperate for cash so ignore the shenanigans" routine? The shoutbox, even for people who never really take part in it, frames a lot of the "social feel" of the game, and feeling like I can count the braincell count of the most vocal denizens on one hand isn't a great vibe.
This kind of goes with unpopular opinion number 2...
2. Is it me, or has the furry/anthro community really exploded in the last few months? I feel like every time I go into the forums or look at buying some CWs there's nothing but weird RP and fursuit stuff being made. For Subeta to keep drawing in a broader audience (and make money) they've gotta try to foster less of the creepy "OwO" atmosphere. I know it's not a popular sentiment given how pervasive the furry-kin are in the game, but for someone who's a pretty normal human being that's comfortable not having a dragon-deer-mermaid otherkin spirit, it's offputting when that's making up more and more of the community. I'm curious if it's being somehow fostered/encouraged by actual site-side content/items (I can't think if it is off the top of my head) or if it's just that the community attracts more of itself.

Deeper context
Before community guidelines, we referred to rules which clearly stated what was acceptable. Community guidelines are blanket rules bendable to whatever this site believes is acceptable. If the site does not like your message for any reason, they can come up with a violation. Opinions not in line with the site? Offending others. Discussion? Inciting an argument. Criticism? Negativity. Requests to staff? Harassment. The subtle part is allowing the site to remove messages to shape its narrative. I see two thought police have already made up charges, degraded free speech, and supported oppression. Sounds familiar to what is happening right now?
Remember how terrible it was before the communisty guidelines brought utopia here? We signed away our rights to speak our thoughts. What a glorious day!
