Holy crud, I was NOT expecting Hattori to be Shinichi's contact! That was absolute genius! He would totally get in on a crazy mission like this for Shinichi. The characterization was spot-on as usual, and this was a blast to read! I just hope Kaito doesn't get tazed any more; I'm starting to worry for his cardiac health. Also, the detail of Aoko staring out at Kaito from the solitary confinement cell was beautifully chilling. I absolutely loved this chapter!

If only Kaito and Shinichi knew someone who could make sure that Kaito’s cardiac health isn’t too bad. Maybe a certain scientist? But Who knows?

Heiji is the friend no one deserves. I’m really glad people love this chapter - it’s had me smiling all morning!

Oh my gosh I don't think my heart can take the awesomeness that is this fan fiction. Heiji finally showing up, Shinichi and Kaito finally escaping, Ran and Hakuba not giving up, oh gosh this is all beautiful. I can't wait to read what happens next!

Let’s agree that Heiji is 100% friend goals. Shinichi and Kaito have escaped yes, and now it’s time to see where this takes them. Next installment should be later today, although it might be the last of the daily updates XD

If you don't mind my asking, what anime is that "obvious protagonist" post from? I've been wondering for a few weeks, and you're the only one who's mentioned knowing it.

It’s called New Game!

To be fair, I only watched the new episode but I went into it thinking it was going to be about girls working in the video game industry and discussing how they make games, design them, etc like how shirobako did that for anime.

However, first episode just ended up being a whole bunch of generic office humor so I gave up on it.  Wasn’t terrible, but didn’t seem worth wasting my time on.

In all honesty, I agree with all of your points about Sans. I love all of the art people are making, but something about it has kind of rung false for me for a while in a way that I couldn't really articulate. It's kind of nice to know that someone else feels the same way.

Thank you! It’s always heartening to know that, however few there are, there are people who have the same thoughts about this as I do. Something about this common portrayal of Sans has felt off to me ever since I finished the game and all of its routes, so I’m glad I was able to express my ideas fully in that ask.
