Ludwig - detective mystery that has a pretty cool premise, though it's only available in Britain, same goes for most of the mysteries on this list (they just get it right)

Father brown/sister bonifest - duel shows set in the same settings just with two different protags bound to the will of the Lord, unless there's a murder afoot.

Poirot - if u wanna see one of the founding mothers of murder mystery but d I'll don't wanna read miss Agatha's work then I'd check out this one.

(Can u tell I like a good murder mystery? Now for the sad shit)

Doom patrol - very good drama superhero show that has one of the best endings I've ever seen, u will cry, it will change u.

Carranger - subbed but good, and signal man has a wife and kids

power rangers - any of them will do, just pick a favorite flavor

Sleepy princess in the demon castle - watch it it's fun and gay

Bloom into you - very good yuri anime, ends ubruptly but pretty dang good.

The executioner and her way of life - the only isakai that truley matters (/jk but it's got a very interesting premise all things considered)

Dandandan - based as fuck

Transformers prime/animated/g1 - all my fellas represent

There are probably a lot I’m missing here, also if anyone else has a good series, you can recommend one to me (also I’m 18, so you can recommend some adult animated series, only I know it’s a bit rare to come across a good series but hopefully there’s hidden gems out there)

F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers: (First Episode Aired:) December 18, 2021 (Last Episode Aired:) April 9, 2022 (16 Episodes)

My Opinion: As you can tell already from the list above I am someone who has watched a variety of different shows. If you are familiar with my previous list then you must know that I have watched the Korean version of Boys Over Flowers along with the Japanese one. I am currently still watching the mainland China version. . . But one thing for sure is I think this might be my favorite version of them all. Okay hear me out I was having a hard time deciding between the Japanese version and this one. Both versions of this show did an amazing job is showing the friendship among F4 and the chemistry between the two main leads. I used to put the Korean one in a petal of stool but after seeing the other versions . . . I have a lot of things I can say about the Korean one which makes it my least favorite but that will be a whole other post. Back to my review on this. I think they did an amazing job choosing the casting for this show overall and I like that there were some changes added in this storyline (Spoiler alert STOP READING IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW) But towards the ending, they usually have the male lead to lose his memory and another character swooping in and making him believe that the main lead loved her instead of his actual love. BUT THEY DIDN'T DO THAT. THANK GOD… but yeah let me stop this is getting longer than I anticipated. All I want to say IS GO WATCH THIS PLEASE

Summary: Gorya is a simple girl who works at a flower shop. She passes an exam and gets accepted into a prestigious and luxurious school attended by the wealthy. The school is ruled by an elite clique known as the F4 consisting of four rich, handsome and spoiled boys. Gorya is the only one who stands up to their bullying, leaving all the boys in awe, especially Thyme, the group's leader. Almost instantly smitten by Gorya, Thyme romantically pursues her but she has no interest in him due to first impressions. She instead falls for his best friend Ren, However, Ren is still in love with his childhood love Mira. In all the chaos of school, Gorya can't help but find herself falling for Thyme because of his generosity to her and her family and his change of character.

There is not enough love on here for The Hot Zone, both the book and the show. The book is great and gory, so if you can’t stand blood I wouldn’t read it, and is slightly terrifying. Richard Preston is an amazing author who is well-versed in many areas in science, including astronomy and infectious diseases.

The Hot Zone is all about an Enola outbreak that occurred in the late eighties just outside of Washington, DC, in Reston, Fairfax county Virginia. It’s been widely shoved under the rug, and most people I’ve talked to have never heard of the incident.

So basically, there are four known strains of Philo viruses: Marburg, Ebola Sudan, Ebola Zaire, and Ebola Reston. Marburg has a 50% mortality rate, while the Ebolas have a 90% mortality rate. When people hear about the strain of Ebola Reston, they tend to think of it as lesser, because the other two were found deep in the forests of Africa, and this one was found in Virginia. But scientists say that the Reston strain might be the most dangerous because there is strong evidence to support that it is airborne, which makes things so much worse. Other philo viruses only spread through fluids, such as blood or spit.

A fact that the show glosses over is that four people actually did contract Ebola Reston in the outbreak. The strain had massacred the monkeys in a resaerch facility, but didn’t seem to spill over into humans. It did. They survived, but if the strain evolves and figures out how to spill over into humans, we’re screwed. That would mean we’d have an airborne, incurable disease that turns your organs to liquid and makes you bleed out of every orifice on your body. 90% of people, gone.

The book is non-fiction, but written in a style that makes it read like a fuctional story, so it’s enjoyable and never boring. It tells the tale of the high stakes, covert operation the Army undertook to try and isolate the virus before it spilled over into humans. It is ansolutely amazing, and tells more anout events prior to and after the events shown in the show on TV.

The Hot Zone television series is only six episodes (they’re on Amazon and maybe they’ll replay them on National Geographic), and it is truly worth the watch. They dramatize some bits, but it is overall pretty true to what actually happened. The book and show are just different enough that it doesn’t matter what order you enjoy them in. You will be wholly entertained both times.

The Hot Zone is about an Ebola outbreak, but they also discuss AIDS and what a tragedy it was, which is a fresh take for a book written in 1994. It talks about how the government pretty much screwed over the mostly gay and bisexual men it affected, and the show provided for a truly emotional moment dealing with this.

Plus, the show has a great cast including Julianna Margulies, Topher Grace, Liam Cunningham, James D’Arcy and many more talented actors. Go and check it out!
