This past weekend I had the absolutely amazing privilege to attend a national conference for a student org I’m a part of and got to be inspired at seminars, learn more about industry and the hiring process, got to network, and even applied for internships on the spot, handing out resumes left and right. It was such great exposure and experience and the friends I went with I would not trade for anything in the entire world. I love them so much and doing this whole thing with them made it even better. I’ll hear back from most of the companies in January or so about internships positions for summer.

On the flight back, I also finally finished that book I was reading lmao. Again, super good read, 8/10 to anyone curious about it. Next, I’ll be starting Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time.

Even though things have been going nothing short of amazing for me, I did fail an exam right before I left for the conference and I felt really incompetent and bad, but I also realized the avg score wasn’t passing and that well, I’m gonna fail every now and then. And maybe I need to put more time in, maybe I need to prepare better, maybe I just have to change something. And that’s okay! So here’s to making a change for improvement and here’s to the final home stretch before finals!
