Shulk

The fact that your birthday is close keeps popping in his mind randomly like a month before and he keeps telling himself that he will not forget and will be ready for that day, although, it depends on how busy he is and if he is hyperfixed in something new he has found or not

If he is working in a project he will remember it when there is just a few days and will immediately panic, feeling kind of guilt and focusing completely in having something ready, and, of course, he will end up ranting to you about how he almost forgot for being working and how sorry he is (even when he manages to have something special ready for your birthday he still feels the need to apologize)

In the other hand, if he has nothing too big in mind the random reminders of your birthday will become random ideas he will have here and there of what he could do for your birthday and also things that could gift you, he keeps having this endless ideas and he can't seem to choose what to do, only forcing himself to choose when he realizes time is running out

Shulk would opt for something small and intimate, his plans are to take you in a date and spend the whole day with you, just having a walk, going to eat to at your favorite place, visiting your favorite places and overall having a peaceful day together, just wanting to spend the day following you around and reminding you that not only you are really special but that you are loved, spending the day doing what you want to do and focusing completely in you it is for him the best way to show you how much he loves you

Although, if he happens to tell Fiora or Reyn his plans they both will tell him that it isn't really a good idea, i mean, yeah remind you that he loves you it is always good and sweet, but since it is your birthday you should have a bigger celebrations, and then the three of them will end up organizing a birthday party for you, depending on what you prefer it will be if it is a big one with a lot of people or a small one with only your closest friends

And, even if the party ends up happening, at the end of the day Shulk will have the alone and peace moment he wanted with you, and then will make sure to tell you how much he loves you, just, this time with more direct words rather than actions

Reyn

He remember that your birthday is coming soon with fairly enough time to plan something, and he thinks he won't have troubles deciding what to do or what to gift you, he loves you after all, but that it is soon proved to not be true

When Reyn finally start thinking and come up with a plan he finds himself unable to decide what to do, you are not only his partner but also one of his best friends, he wants to do something meaningful, something that would leave clear that he loves you and deeply but at the same time he doesn't want to be way too cheesy, it is surprisingly difficult for him to decide

Even so, at the end he manages to come up with something simple but meaningful, he opts to gift you something that had reminded him of you, either bought, something he found in the wild or even something handmade, and for the day he makes plans to do things he knows you enjoy, taking you to just be the two of you and have fun, taking you out of Colony 9 just to spend the whole day goofying around, he would love that and he hopes you like it too. However, if he knows you would prefer to have a party with friends then he will straight go for that option, immediately asking for help to Fiora and Shulk and the three planning a party for you, he will try to keep it as a secret but between being the fact that it is your birthday and his excitement he ends up leaving pretty clear what he is planning to do

At the end, what he wants the most it is that you have fun, after all the anniversary of the day you were born it is really special and he wants to make sure you feel as special, making sure personally that you are feeling happy and having a good time no matter what you two do at the end, even if your friends end up taking your whole attention from most part of the day, as long as you are having fun he will be fine

Dunban

Dunban is aware that your birthday is coming soon, not only because he would not forget but also because he makes sure to have little reminders where he could see it, after all he wanted to make sure he wouldn't forget for any reason

As well, he doesn't struggle much on thinking on what to do or what to give you, he wants to do something sweet and meaningful and that is what he is going to do. Dunban is already planning to have a date only for the two of you, to act like the gentleman he is and pamper you in love, discreet but sweet, actions small enough to don't drag much attention but still meaningful, he may be even more obvious than usual when pulling doors for you or offering you his arm to take but it is all fun

Dunban never shies away from being affectionate or expression how much he loves you, he just never makes a big deal out of it because that love is for you only, but since it is your birthday he will be telling you more directly and playfully, taking the occasion to tell you even more how much he loves you

Of course, if you or one of your friends is planning a party for you he wouldn't have much troubles with organizing everything, he will help with everything he can with preparations, the day of the party to get everything ready and even during the party if something has to be done, it is just that he is so responsible that he wants to take as much weight from your shoulders as possible, you should just focus in enjoying your party

Of course, if the party happens then the date he had planned will have to be postponed, if not for before the party then for another day, not really minding if he ends up taking you in the date after your birthday, after all the most important thing is that you enjoy the time spent together, and, besides, he will not stop loving you no matter what day it is

shulk knew that you afraid of thunderstorms, even before you started dating. even back then, he was always there to distract you on the nights a thunderstorm happened

he'd always stand in front of your door an hour or two before the storm came, bringing some food or inventions along, to share with you

his goal was always to distract you from the storm, maybe even get you so into the conversation that you wouldn't even notice the storm approaching

once you started dating, shulk didn't need to visit your place anymore – he was already there! and he'd just distract you like usual, this time with cuddles and kisses!

though one time, the two of you were still outside during a thunderstorm and shulk knew he couldn't get you home in time to shield you from the storm

so instead, he found a dry place in a cave for you two, had you sit in front of him and covered your ears, while hugging you from behind

even if he had to focus on that for the entire night and didn't get a single minute of sleep, he wanted you to rest and relax at least a little bit through all of this…

Probably days worth of asking until he finally decides to give it a try with you. And he'll be smiling slightly when he does. Just don't expect him to do much, but hey he seems to be having... fun...

Dimitri:

He'll give you his best wishes that you can become one!

What kind of music do you like? He's more than happy to hear you talk about it.

He loves to see how happy it makes you.

Will gladly watch you dance, if you'll let him.

He does know some dancing, so he'd be happy to dance with you. Only if it's just the two of you, though.

The only kinds of dancing he can do are the ones most royals would know. And he feels like he may be rusty at it since it's been a while for him.

She can listen to you talk about the kind of you music you love. She's happy to listen to you tell her what your favorite is.

Poly imagin for Shulk and Fiora: Fiora mentions that she hopes to have some time to talk with Melia more, only for her and Shulk's S/O to playfully comment that she just wants to flirt with her.

-Being in a relationship with these two would be very sweet and often a very positive experience! However, they are also both extremely close with their friends and loved ones. A partner who can joke and make light of them spending a lot of time with said friends without it bothering them too badly would make things in relationship run very smoothly.

-Jealously is normal and something that can occur sometimes, but neither of them deal with that issue very often, as by the time they are together they are very secure in their relationship, so a third partner who feels that same way would be ideal.

- Fiora may get flustered for a bit when they insinuate that she wants to flirt with Melia, let's say, but she'd soon get accustomed to that and know its not anything serious. She'd quickly be able to learn to joke that way herself when either Shulk or her other partner do something similar.

-Shulk's a bit...oblivious when it comes to relationship things unless its said straight out-he may not even really get the joke when he hears his partner joking around about Fiora and Melia. He certainly wouldn't mind though, once it's explained to him. It's good that his partner isn't jealous though-he often gets himself in situations that are flirty without even knowing himself, so being able to joke about it would be much better than arguing and getting upset.

Confident and serious confesion of love. Because of her position Melia grew in a quite rought enviroment, not only she has troubles with relaxing but also with sincerity and feelings, she is already having a hard time handling being in a relasionship but when you tell her you love her with so much conviction totally makes her lose her composure, blushing furiously while not knowing what to say or react

Sharla

Flirting back. Sharla is confident and playful, if the time is right she has no problem with teasing you and being playful and she doesn't mind is you answer or not, any way you react will amused her and will remind her how much she loves you, she is not easy to fluster so even if you flirt back you have to push enough and adding a hint of sincere love to make her lose he composture, and even if you do she still tries to act composed so you will have to press a little longer before seeing her all blushy

Shulk

Remembering the things he tells you. When he is comfortable enough Shulk tent to rant about whatever is in his mind and what he is working on, he just feels so happy to share all of that with you but sometimes he get so lost in his own thoughts and end up forgetting what he have just told you, so when you bring up something he told you a while ago he can't help flustered because you were actually listening, even remember it, he gets blushy and even stutter while trying to answer

shulk goes completely quiet as you play with his hair, gently stroking his head and caressing his face. he's never been one to know what to say in moments like this, but especially right now he can't put his feelings into words

and for the first time in ages, he actually relaxes for once! he's been on edge for so long, but with you, he can finally clear his mind and not worry about things for once

Melia Antiqua

Melia has some problems to get used to be in a relationship, she is happy that her feelings are corresponded and she doesn't even try to hide how happy and comfortable is around you but it will take her a while to finally get used to don't be so formal and polite (specially when she feels a bit flustered for being in a relasionship)

Just like that, Melia has to take a while until she feels comfortable to be openly affectionate, she starts by words and actions but pda is quite a bit troublesome and, even so, she prefers to don't be physicaly affectionate in public, she doesn't want anyone staring at you two (she had enough of that already)

No matter how accostumed Melia is your personality somehow always manage to surprise her, specially when telling her "I love you" out of nowhere, she is imediatly surprised and look at you as if trying to confirm that she have heard you right, after seeing no hesitantion on you she can tell that she have indeed heard you right and its then when she become embarrassed, she is used to be treated as the princess, always with politeness and respect and even when she doesn't mind at all that her friends treat her as an equal, without making a big deal out of her title, she is still not used to this kind of affection

Everytime you tell her that you love her out of nowhere she always calls you out and sometimes even complains about how this isn't the time nor the place to say that kind of things, still is more of an instinctive reaction since she is quite flustered by those words

After a while she will get used and once she grows more comfortable and used to the affection she won't react so dramstically, still sometimes calls you out just as a joke, even smiling sweetly at you when doing so, and now she is even planing to surprise you one of this days to tell you that she love you too

At some point Melia grows not only used to your randoms "I love you" but also will grow to love it, it becomes part of her day by day so if pass most part of the day without one of those she will be a bit worried and will even missed it! But she would too embarrassed to admit it out loud (still, she can't stop herself from staring at you from time to time, almost if asking you were is her "I love you")

Melia wouldn't be able tell you "I love you" at random times like you do, thats not her style, but she will grow comfortable enough to tell you how much she loves you whenever you two are having quality time, she prefers to say it when is just the two of you and in what it feels like the right moment (still, she doesn't see nothing bad on you saying it at random times during the day)

Shulk

Shulk is an incredibly caring and loving person, he may have problems with understanding other's feelings at times but he always tries his best, and he can be quite protective over the people he cares for too!

Getting to be in a relationship with Shulk it's been quite a journey because it take too long to Shulk to realice his own feelings and a bit more to confess (even if you were the one confesing it probably took some time), also, despite being incredibly happy Shulk doesn't know much what to do as a boyfriend so it take a while for him to get used to actually be in a relationship

Shulk isn't too shy when it comes to being affectionate but most of the time he shows his love and care through actions and words, telling you how much he appreciate you and doing things for you without a second thought and always with a smile!

Still, directly telling you that he loves you is a bit flustering for him, he can say it without much troubles but with a blush, but when is you who say it to him is even more flustering, specially when you say it out of nowhere

Whenever you tell him that you love him out of nowhere it always caught him off guard, sometimes he is too distracted and take him a while to process your words before looking at you with a mix of surprise and happiness, other times he stares at you as if wanting to make sure he have heard you right before smiling, he is a bit embarrassed, blushing and smiling softly like a fool in love, but he always tells you that he love you too

No matter how much time it passes he will always react surprised whenever you tell him that you love him out of nowhere, he always looks at you a bit flustered before saying it back with a smile, although with some time he will get so used to it that it will start doing it himself, his goal is not excatly caught you off guard by being the one telling you that he loves you our of nowhere but he can't help but find it pretty cute and funny if he does

Also, he doesn't mind if you surprise him saying it out of nowhere, even if you say it in front of others he will simply react as the same (even if he end up being teased by Reyn and Fiora his friends he won't ask you to stop), it is actually something that makes him feels incredibly happy and loved, he grows to love it some much that he want you to never stop

Actually, if one day pass and you don't randomly tell him that you love him when he notices he will imediatly ask you (except if it was a really bad day, in that case he will probably be the one saying it to you), not thinking it twice and even getting a little embarrassed after noticing what have he just asked and trying to explain that it was a bit weird and he is a bit worried
