Thinking once again about how outrageously badly Membrane's negligence fucked over his kids.
Thinking once again how both kids coped in diametrically opposite ways that simply aren't compatible with each other.
Thinking once again how the only person in the world who could ever understand what the Membrane siblings are going through are literally sat beside each other at lunch and yet perpetuate their dad's cruelty by dismissing each other's needs as frivolous or stupid.
Just fucking thinking about it. And them. Forever.
An impromptu nap
jeremy is truly in the trenches... he has 1/3 siblings with whom he has an okayish relationship and that sibling kind of wants to fuck jean
Ada: "Sorry I'm late, they closed Montague Street. There's a gas explosion or…"

Ada: "Right. Well, it would be nice if just one thing could happen in Birmingham that wasn't our fault."
the only way i imagine jowan becoming a warden in minerva’s worldstate is actually if as part of his whole Developing Morals And A Sense Of Responsibility thing, he showed up to the vigil and asked, and the thing is: she would say no. which obviously he would read as derision/rejection but no she’s actually just coming to terms with her culpability in what happened to jowan and her other ruined close friendships and also how badly things with anders went down and the fact that she is surrounded by people she now cares about whose lives she has cut in half. unfortunately jowan however did not get the memo and has put together some backbone by this point and came all this way and insists on sticking around until she makes him a warden whether she likes it or not. the idea of him awkwardly hanging around until he’s part of everyone’s lives is hysterical. eventually he maybe gets access to another visiting recruiter which is the breaking point where minerva gets desperate enough that she breaks warden protocol to explain the dangers of the joining—the way she never broke circle mage protocol to explain the dangers of the harrowing to him—and he’s like so what you’re saying is this time i get my chance? this time it’s my choice? and you want to take that away? and she’s like okay fuck you why do i respect you now. Fine. die and i will kill you.
