sunnydale's abundance of graveyards is a silly funny bit until you think about all the people that die in that town. the countless children that never made it out of sunnydale high. all those corpses fed to the hellmouth, their graves become the hunting grounds of more monsters. worst town on earth

i think the thing that makes me so crazy about vitali and nick is that while it looked like mutually assured destruction for the most part (on account of the two of them continuously ruining each other's lives every time they'd break up) at the end of it all it very much wasn't. nick let his whole life revolve around vitali to the point nothing mattered anymore when vitali broke off the engagement but vitali still had the rest of his future ahead of him. nick was a closed chapter to vitali meanwhile nick saw his entire future slip through his fingertips when vitali left
