Dark Times: Fire Carrier #4 (2013)
written by Randy Stradley art by Gabriel Guzman & Garry Henderson
This week's theme: Tragic Rascals!
The best Star Wars comic about protecting a group of kids is “Dark Times 6: Fire Carrier.” I’m especially taken by the silly little Mon Calamari 🧡
The young lady in charge is named Chase Piru; the Zabrak is Jiro; the Mon Calamari is Onkya; the human girl is Sidirri; the human boy is Kennan Taanzer; the Togorian (cat) doesn’t have a name; a Duros named Genel, a Twi’lek named Seddwia, another human boy without a name, and a blue-skinned bat-boy named Nable are not shown.
“Dark Times 6: Fire Carrier,” Issue 1. Dark Horse. February 6, 2013. Writer: Randy Stradley. Penciller: Gabriel Guzman. Colorist: Garry Henderson.

This week’s theme: They’re right behind me, aren’t they?
Like Master, like Padawan – just a couple threatened Jedi creepin’ in the forest. This comic rules, and these two characters – the high-minded, hulking Whiphid K’Kruhk and the tiny, furious redhead Sidirri – are two of my favorite Jedi survivors.
“Dark Times 6: Fire Carrier,” Issue 4. Dark Horse. May 1, 2013. Writer: Randy Stradley. Penciller: Gabriel Guzman. Colorist: Garry Henderson.
