I need a 25k word fic that is potentially slowburn then angst that is Sidon x link. Specifically how post events of botw, link got wrapped up in adventures with Zelda. Didn’t visit Sidon for years and when he comes back, expecting the same dude he’s got a fiancé and he missed his chance.

Baby Sidon & Mipha 💕

The Princess Zelda had just leave from Zora's domain, after seeing a very cute scene between Mipha and her young brother Sidon. The little prince saw for the first time the Hylian lady, and the least he could say that he was impressed. She knew how divine machines worked to the perfection. Mipha had told him a lot about the blond-haired girl, but she was must better in flesh, real. Maybe her presence made him realize that his sister had a big plan to achieve. One day, she will leave him and their precious domain to fufill her goal, maybe never to return home. Back then, he never thought how true these words were...

“Sweet Sidon, should fate ever part us, I am counting on you to protect our beloved home from harm” Mipha said just before Zelda's departure. The young prince took these words at heart, and began practicing over and over his swimming skills. Of course, he was still too young to climb a waterfall that large, but he never stopped trying. His sister was his true role model, and he wanted to impress her. Mipha wasn't expecting his brother to take her words this seriously, and came later to search him, when she saw Sidon, a little spear at hand. She stopped him right before he tried to climb the waterfall again. “SIDON !!!” she yelled, her own lance helping her halt him. “My sweet Sidon... you don't have to put all your efforts in one day” she clarified with a gentle smile, putting a warm and humid hand against his shoulder. “Where did you get it ?” she asked while looking at the very small weapon. “Nelto forged it to me ! He said I will be stronger with it, to protect you and our home !” He nodded vigorously, holding tight his first real spear. After all, this was Zora's weapon of choice. “I knew I could trust you to defend our beloved home from harm... but I am sure there is a little Zora girl you like, isn't it ?”

As her young brother blushed a little, Mipha giggled sweetly. They never spoke about love or affection together, even if their father had always been a cuddling one. “Girls are yuk !” he exclaimed with a grimace on his cute face. That was probably why the princess burst out of laughter. “No they are not ! Look at Octavieh, she always wants to give you little kisses !” she joked fondly, finding his sweet brother even more cute when he was making faces. Sidon seemed pretty serious, not considering love for real, too much young for it... and yet, he knew what love was. He... saw it with his amber eyes. “I don't want kisses ! They are not Link for me...”

Mipha gazed at him with surprise, all trace of joke or smile had disappeared from her face. Of course, that hylian became dear to her in a matter of days. Seeing him explain swordsmanship and battle tactics to young Zoras made her fall in love without warning. Maybe that is why she started a Zora armor for him... “Link is...” she began with a soft voice, looking back at her own spear as she sat next to her brother. “He's a warrior ! I wanna be like him !!” Before the princess could even explain how she truly felt about the hylian champion, Sidon made her smile fondly again. “And I am sure you will be, my sweet Sidon !” No matter how much she cared for him, he was out of reach, at least for now. Her role as the Zoran champion was even more important. More than anything else, her family included infortunately. “Now... would you join me again ? Let us climb this big waterfall and head back to the domain !” she decided after taking his brother's hand, sweetened by Sidon's bright smile.

For sure, one day, he will become the great defender of the domain, and the most loved prince the Zoran people ever knew...

When you accidentally forget the hylian you plan to woo already had the pleasure to survive all his previous friends and your mouth moves before your brain manages to connect. 

Picture Link proceeding to kill all the monsters around the domain, lynel included, every frigging blood moon and growing paranoid whenever he doesn’t get there in a reasonable time because he’s busy, you know, saving Hyrule.

I bet this meme was done before with those two but I needed an easy and mindless doodle...
