@hyliaphora-cecropia merry christmas! its a terriblis - at least my interpretation of it!

explanation for my art choices under cut!

obviously, the terriblis is the focal point! i wanted it to feel celestial, hence the star points and the glow around it! the lines around it are actually my guidelines to draw the points, but they looked cool and sort of like a star map, so i kept them.

as for the birds,,, unfortunately its really hard to make a eurasian eagle owl in 5 pixels, so she doesn't look so distinguishable from a normal bird. the raven is clearer.

i'm sure you know which bird symbolizes who <3 considering i was very obvious asking. forever in each other's sights, so close but a whole world apart. how sad.

Sigma is by far my oldest working OC--the character has been around for over 8 years in some form or another.

...and as such I will NEVER be satisfied with his character design. He's been through so many redesigns....and there will be more to come....

this tilde tfriday i present to you: wizards using their magic for stupid shit volume 8

a lot of mages use magic to hold up their hair, but tilde takes it to another level and straight up manipulates her hair to serve as a prehensile third arm. it's great for party tricks!

it's also an excellent mechanism for annoying the shit out of people

DAY FIFTEEN - VILLAIN / DRAMATIC

(and a bonus SIGMA STUESDAY)

there was only one real choice here. the man. the myth. the diva.

These are just doodles, but I've been working on a lot...and I mean a LOT of Sigma behind the scenes. I'm still figuring out how I want to draw his expressions given how differently shaped his head is from my other human characters, so I'll probably end up doing a much more fleshed out expression sheet soon.

Anyway, the Raven is very villainous and has a flair for the dramatic--he's been that way for decades. This grand narrative about becoming god and rewriting the universe to be flawless? It's been around since he was a late teen. Truly the perfect fit for both of today's prompts.
