and then … sometimes someone tugs at tour heart strings just so. and sometimes they describe what they are looking for in love and you want to just be like yes yes yes i got you i can give you all that! i want to love you right. and maybe they even talk about the sex they have and what they like and don’t like about it. and you just have to keep a straight face and not let your breath hitch while you try not to think of all the ways you could be just right for them. or how they’d look in the morning light in your room with their clothes discarded on the floor.

like sometimes you have to get it together and not tell someone how ardently you desire to feel their nails in your back, desperately holding onto you while you give them exactly what they’ve been asking for.

🫀 still tries not to lose his temper, but the internalized emotions and concentration needed to internalize them translate into physical things being affected by his powers — glass fractures or shatters, books fall down while perfectly balanced, electronic devices glitch or freak out, high static in the air like a storm’s gathering, anyone nearby him often get headaches and/or nosebleeds (which adds to him self isolating during these Moments) (he will absolutely enact blinding migraines and everything-bleeds on enemies tho)

🫀 MAJOR zombie fanatic — watches old/classic zombie movies in his spare time, reads the walking dead comics, collects any zombie paraphernalia he can find on hunts, online (he is an eBay FIEND also) or whenever the gang has downtime to shop. his room is littered with posters, figurines, books, DVD’s; countless graphic zombie/zombie film shirts, laptop covered in stickers and has a zombie wallpaper, etc.

🫀 churches & other hallowed grounds don’t really hurt him per se, but he does get rather unwell whenever he’s in or around them—some lightheadedness, perhaps fatigue—and anxiety cranked up to 97% bc he always feels like he’s being watched or judged by..something. maybe the building itself knows whose blood he has.

🫀 since he can, on some level, manipulate shadows, his own shadow is very loosely shaped and takes a small but constant amount of active concentration to retain shape. if he isn’t paying much mind to it, or his emotions are somewhat dialed up, it starts to distort

🫀 loves hoodies almost as much as jackets, and likes accessorizing them with safety pins and patches (also mainly zombie related)

🫀 uses his typewriter for personal journaling and attempts at writing his own stories, most of which are either about zombie apocalypses or a fantasy hero that totally isn’t his ideal self at all. nobody is allowed to read them under any circumstances.
