Toph constantly wants Mai to throw knives at her to see if she can block them with earth.

She secretly likes hanging out with Mai more than she lets on because she sort of gets the whole sheltered upbringing and overbearing parents, and even though she doesn’t always say that she feels like she understands her or even always acts like they’re close or good friends, she would like to be closer. She thinks they’d be good for each other to have someone to vent to who gets it.

Toph loves when Mai shows emotions or snaps back at anyone, and she is ready to be a hype man if Mai starts throwing hands (or knives.)

“You’re really choked up about this, aren’t ya?”

“No I’m not, I just... I dunno, I’ve known you for a bit now and I think that’s the first time I saw you smile. Like. Really smile. It’s nice,” he smiles back. Her smile was small and slight and barely even there, but it was the first time it didn’t seem sarcastic. And maybe it was just a twitch of her face or the way the shadows crossed her face, but Mai really did seem a little calmer than she usually did. “But if me being an emotional human being is gonna make you not ever show me emotions again, I’ll stop acting weird!” he rushes, not wanting to ruin what at least to him felt a little bit like friendship bonding. But he wasn’t sure where Mai stood since she was pretty hard to read most of the time.

Ty Lee doesn’t talk to any of them. She knows they are alive and probably living their best lives, but since she is one of seven she likes to pretend that isn’t the case most of the time. She works so hard to be an individual that she refuses to be part of a matched set. She ran away so she wasn’t tied with them for the rest of her life and she honestly loves being on Corona because it as far as she can get from them all.

For all of her friends to be happy all the time.

For Debby to see how great she is and find happiness.

Probably something unrealistic like a unicorn.

“You’re feeling adventurous today, aren’t you?”

“Oh, only always,” she laughed. “Now come on, you want to get your knife back from the security guard or not? Because trust me, I know the perfect way to get their attention for at least a few minutes. So I’ll distract them, you sneak into the office and grab your knife off the desk. That easy. I would grab it for you while you do the distraction but, no offense, I don’t trust your acting skills.”

“Me? I would never,” Sokka said with a grin growing on his face. “Okay, so, maybe I borrowed Zuko’s dual blades. That’s different than stealing though. Stealing is wrong. This is just...temporary?” His grin turns into more of a nervous smile. “I just wanted to see what the hype about these things were anyway. I must say though, I am impressed. But I’m done now! I will silently return them. He doesn’t know, does he?”

HA! you’re funny! ” vanellope declares with a laugh. she tries to keep her balance on her brand new skates. she heard she had to break them in and figured this was the best way, skating around town. plus, it’d been awhile since she actually roller skated. “ i’m practicing duh! my friend recruited me for her roller derby team and i’m a little rusty on these things. ” she skates another circle around her, admittedly it’s smoother than before. “ ooh! ” she declares in excitement. “ i need a cool name too. maybe van the vulture! what do you think? ”
