Do you ever worry about Kastle becoming canon? (Maybe that’s just me!) I don’t know if they’d really go there, or they’d keep finding excuses for them to never quite come together, but I’m convinced that, realistically, they’d be a ragged, painful hot mess - maybe a little too much for my heart to handle. It’s tough though, because Deb & Jon’s scenes together are the best and at the same time I’m glad for any excuse for them to have more. (Thank god for fanworks. The perfect middle ground!)
Hey! Hmmm, I guess a bit, yeah. Worried more that Frank and his story would get overshadowed by Kastle and I truly mean that as a compliment - Jon and Deb’s chemistry is so strong and makes it beautiful to watch Frank and Karen on screen that I honestly could see a romantic relationship between the two end up possibly overshadowing what brought Frank to us in the first place (but maybe it wouldn’t, who knows). And I mean more overshadowing in terms of reviews and people’s opinions of the show, not the the content of the show itself, just what people bring away from it after watching - and Frank is too special of a character for that to ever be allowed to happen <3
My other worry would just that Kastle isn’t done right, if they so choose to go that route. That the writers may rush into it faster than it should have been, because I think it needs to be a true slow burn to truly feel on par with Frank and his emotional state (and Karen’s too for that matter since she also has demons she’s battling).
(Thank god for fanworks. The perfect middle ground!)
Hell yeah!!
