😅- a line that made you feel second hand embarrassment

I 100% am incapable of doing second hand embarrassment it makes me want to do so! this is the closest I could get. 

“Yeah, tons. Want me to get some tunes going?”    

“Tunes?” echoes back Teddy with a giggle. “Hell yeah, get those tunes going.” 

Iris finds her cheeks heating up a little, Teddy seems to be particularly talented in that regard, but forces herself to relax.

1. If you could have any animal (real or from fiction) as a pet, what would it be?

I think a Phoenix would be beautiful!

2. Most niche subject you know about?

Artificial Intelligence, but don’t tell anyone

3. What’s one thing people keep getting wrong about you?

That I’m an idiot pushover. You don’t know what’s going on inside my head. But don’t worry, your ignorance only works in my favor.

4. Biggest regret so far?

Not trusting the people who care for me.

5. What’s something you wish you could change about your body, if anything?

I think I’m okay with how I am.

6. Do you prefer standing or sitting?

Does laying in bed count?

7. Are there any recurring things in your dreams?

None of your fucking business.

8. Sweet or savory?

Salty.

9. Does fame appeal to you?

I’m already famous in my own right *wink*

10. What’s the worst thing you’ve done to someone?

Accused them of trying to sabotage me when they only had my best interest at heart.

11. What’s your go to pastime?

hmmmm well, it’s not exactly legal and I’m a big fan of reasonable deniability...

12. Do you miss your childhood?

Not necessarily in a nostalgic manner... But I’d love to go back and do some things differently.

IRIS TURNER comes from a long line of pirates. Her mom is an expert of navigation and flight while her father is the resident technology pro. She has a younger sibling called Freddie who inherited their mom’s gift for navigation while she herself took more after their father and quickly outpaced him in tech knowledge.

When she was 20 she started a whirlwind romance with Taylon, the son of her families arch-nemesis Zerich. When she was 22 she ran off with them in a ship she’d designed herself. They did everything they could to mend the feud between their families and bring them together. But after a year on the run Taylon discovered the, very illegal, Artificial Intelligence Iris created. He threatened to turn her into the authorities proving some feuds are impossible to overcome, and she was forced to flee. It wasn’t long before she was captured by Zerich. Now she has two choices: she can either let Zerich turn her over to the authorities or she can join his crew and wait for her opening to escape. Wiill Iris ever find freedom or will she be stuck under Zerich’s thumb for life?

-makes it her personal mission to drive Cat insane (once she feels comfortable enough that Cat’s not going to kill her for it)

-a little bit psychic (it’s in her genes)

-a little bit idealistic (she just wants to love and be loved!!)

-which led to, arguably, the worse decision she’s ever made (yes she realizes how that sounds all things considering)

-just wants to move to a remote planet and tinker with her tech

-does not want to get dragged into any big world changing events (doesn’t have much of a choice)

-seriously, maybe she could even start a garden?

-a garden sounds nice

-why won’t the universe just let her nap?

-I love her so much and I promise I’m sorry (I’m not)
