Sweetberry/Sweetpaw
A mostly white tortoiseshell molly with most of the colours near hear back legs and tail, tiny ears, pale green eyes, a torn ear, and a thick tail.
Sweetpaw's poisoning is now a more major event. More cats in Thunderclan end up sick, with Pinestar even losing a life due to it, and Weedwhisker dying. In pure desperation, Featherwhisker goes to Brambleberry and asks for help.
Due to a Shypaw's food poisoning death years back from Mapleshade's curse, Riverclan has become EXTREMELY vigilant about food poisoning and how to get through it. Brambleberry saves Sweetpaw, and Sweetpaw takes the name Sweetberry to honor her.
To say Thistleclaw does not take this well is an understatement. He berates her constantly, not that she almost died, he was worried, but that a "fish muncher" saved her, and she chose to honour her by taking up half her name. Names are sacred, and she has ruined hers. She might as well be half-clan.
Sweetberry goes as low contact as possible with him. She is done with her brother. Besides, she has a big dream! She wants to become a Camp Keeper, and have an apprentice. She doesn't get along with Smallear at all, and wants to do better than him.
She was Camp Keeper, head of the group before signing it over to Mousefur not long before Rusty joined Thunderclan. She is friends with Russetmoth and Silverbreeze, Willowpelt's parents, and when Silverbreeze passes away, she makes sure to help pass along the skill if Glyphs to Brackenpaw, temporarily becoming Glyphs Master to train him up, since she perfected Glyphs to be able to communicate easily with Silverbreeze, Willowpelt's mother, who was deaf.
Rosetail got to mentor Cricketkit, and Sunstar liked to pair sibling apprentices with sibling mentors (a trend that Bluestar, Firestar, and Bramblestar would mostly continue). If Featherkit had lived, Sweetberry would have gotten to be his mentor, the little tom having sadly passed from Fading Kitten Syndrome. Thistleclaw had got to mentor Tigerkit, and while Mistkit, his sister, did make it, she was given a different mentor due to Sweetberry having been suffering from a sprained leg at the time (something Thistleclaw still tried to make fun of her for, she just ignored him)
She finally get the apprentice she dreamed of when Brindleface's son, Tulipkit, becomes Tulip-paw, assigned to be mentored by Sweetberry. Though his apprenticeship is held for far too long due to Bluestar's deteriorating mental state, Sweetberry was always proud of him, and was overjoyed when he finally became Tulipfur.
She refuses to retire during The Darkest Hour, but during Graystripe's Clan (then) she finally takes the rest she has earned. She travels with the Clans during The Journey, helping Frostfur and Loudbelly make the trip, since no elders are getting left behind.
During Leafpool's Wish, she ends up with a nasty infection in her body, one that will not respond to treatments Leafpool gives. Sweetberry knows she will not last much longer, especially not when she sees her nephews and niece, Whitestorm, Redtail and Spottedleaf, outside the Medicine Den; and gives comfort to Leafpool by insisting that she feels okay, well enough to eat, even. Leafpool grabs her a sparrow, and after her meal, Sweetberry goes into the elder's den, sees her sister's spirit, and goes to sleep for the last time, getting up from her body as a younger cat, and walking to Starclan with her loved ones.
