Knuckles tv show? Cool! Is there anything you want to see happen (on the show, or just with him in live action canon?)
Yeah!! It’ll be a spin off of the Sonic movies, and the plot is this:
"Knuckles on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior."
Now I’m honestly excited for whatever!! I adore the Sonic movies so much, and Sonic 2 is probably in my top 5 favorite movies ever (but again, I’m highly bias since I’ve loved Sonic my whole life) and it was everything my 10 year old self dreamed of and more!
But, and while this is incredibly wishful thinking, but who knows? Jeff Fowler DID say they plan on adding more characters from the games if they are able to keep making more movies and shows, and I would LOVE to see Rouge and/or Vector, Espio and Charmy show up! I’m not expecting it, but I would be so happy if they did! Hell, the Chaotix are technically canon to the movie verse. Vector and Espio showed up in the background of the prequel comic!
But also I’m just excited to see more of this version of Knuckles, and more of Wade!
But I think unless they really bomb it, I’ll love it. The two Sonic movies we’ve had so far I adore, and I think the people who are making all this know the source material well and are making it with a lot of love. Even if there are some changes to the overall story of Sonic and friends, it’s been done well! I’m just excited to see where this goes and I hope this universe continues to grow and more and more characters from the games show up (and I’m manifesting a Sonic Heroes movie. It probably won’t ever happen but could you IMAGINE?).
I also just wanna see what everyone would look like, because they made Sonic, Tails and Knuckles so fucking adorable. It’s one of the few times I actually approve of a live action adaptation of a previously animated source lol.
Anyways, I rambled a bit there, but you got me talking about Sonic lmao. I will go off about how much I love that funky little hedgehog and his friends every chance I get! 💙💙💙
