What is a kink meme? A kink meme is a public (usually nsfw) prompt thread, originally popularized on LiveJournal. One person will throw out an idea that they don’t or can’t fulfill themselves in the hopes that it will spark creativity in someone else. A kink meme can be as simple as pairing + trope, or a full well-thought-out AU.

How do I submit a kink meme? Use the ask button on this blog and it will go into the queue! You can submit anonymously (traditional), but it will be posted either way - make sure you click anonymous if you don’t want your face on it!

How do I fill a kink meme? Any way you like! Submissions are open for you to submit your prompt fills directly to this blog, but you can also do any of the following:

Reblog the ask post and put your fill in the body of the reblog

Make your own original post on tumblr and link back to the original prompt post

Post your prompt fill to AO3 or another fanfic archive and post a link on tumblr

Whatever you do, we just ask that you link the prompt on your creative piece and/or reblog the submission with your piece included or linked (whichever applicable). If you are putting an explicit fill in reblogs, please remember to add a community label if the original post doesn’t already have one!

Can I fill/submit an NSFW prompt if I am under 18? No, you should not do this. Doing so not only endangers you, but the adults in fandom as well. We can’t stop you from seeking out certain content if you want to see it, but you should not be interacting with adults on sexual topics.

Can I fill a prompt with art? Absolutely! If your craft is drawing, painting, crocheting, stop-motion, needlepoint, cosplay, etc. and you are inspired by a kink meme, we encourage you to participate! We also encourage adding alt text to any images.

What content do you allow in submissions? All ships and kinks are welcome - yes, even that one. Prompts not related to Grimm will be rejected. Venting, character-bashing, or incomprehensible prompts will be deleted. Transphobia, racism, misogyny, homophobia, antisemitism, Islamophobia, or ableism will get you blocked.

How are kink memes tagged? Tags will include any and all ships, kinks, applicable tropes, and potentially triggering content to the best of our ability. If something is missing or you would like to request a certain trigger tag, send an ask! Every possible trigger may not be tagged for, however, so it’s important to remember to protect yourself and your online experience.

Can I submit SFW prompts? Of course! Despite the name, kink memes aren’t just for porn.

Can I submit prompts with characters from the Grimm tie-in novels, comics, and games, too? Of course!

Can I submit prompts with my OC? No, but not because there’s anything wrong with OCs! These prompts are for someone else to fill, so it has to include characters they know.

Can I submit reader-insert or y/n prompts? Yes, as long as the other characters are from Grimm!

Can I submit crossover prompts? Not at this time.

Can I make my own kink meme for a different fandom using this blog as a template? This kink meme was created using the WWDITS Kink Meme as a template with permission of the generous mods as stated in their FAQ. I encourage you to check out their kink meme if you’d like a thorough starting point!

Who are the mods? Right now this blog is run by Jujubiest, one lone Grimmster who misses LiveJournal kink memes. If at some point we have additional mods, we will list them here.

Zoo AU: the crew all works at a zoo, some or all are animal residents, or they are their normal selves being treated like zoo animals. That could be down to something like racist legal classification of wesen as animals, or the facility is run by aliens, robots, the fae or unknown unseen entities. Whatever the reason, it's long established and everyone's either been raised in zoo captivity or rescued from the pet trade. Pairing(s) of choice, comedy crack or serious. Just have fun with it.

Rosalee's drops work better than expected and Juliette wakes from her coma without Renard. Nick's kiss activates a version of what was meant to happen with him. She only forgets Nick for a few days. All seems fine at first, but her feelings slowly warp until she eventually becomes abusive. Nick feels responsible for her troubles and stays even after it turns physical. He turns up on Monroe's doorstep with a packed bag, bruised, shaky and in need of TLC (platonic or eventually romantic).

I'm just a little guy, so please be patient as I work through the backlog of prompts. They seem to come in faster than I can get to them. If you think the ask box ate your prompt because you haven't seen it posted, please wait for a bit. I've put a lot of things into the queue that come out gradually over time, and scheduled some things seasonally based on holidays mentioned and such.

Nick's grimm kicks in at 17. He fights well, but is not willing to be as violent as Marie thinks a grimm needs to be. He loves her but is scared of the roads he might go down if they keep hunting together, so leaves to make his own way at 19. He can't avoid wesen, especially when he becomes a cop, so he seeks out the weider community to balance his perspective. His initial bid to join the group is rejected, but an intrigued Monroe follows him out, soon decides he's sincere and vouches for him.

Juliette was born a hexenbiest. Unaware of Nick's heritage, she treats him as a pretty plaything and isn't careful with her toy. She zaubertranks him when he shows signs of leaving. Marie's too weak to kill her when she shows up. While Monroe guards her, she wakes and enlists his help to get Nick free of Juliette. Monroe does not know how it's his life that he made (and kept!) a promise to a dying (Kessler!) grimm but now he's got a traumatized bby grimm for roommate and doesn't even regret it.

Rosalee discovers the werewolf boyfriend tag on tumblr. She and Nick end up running a suggestion blog together for fun and a secret outlet for their mutual crush on Monroe. Meanwhile Monroe, unbeknownst to any of his RL friends, has created an account to connect with the clock side of tumblr. One of his clock mutuals is also a monsterfucker who reblogs werewolf content. Monroe makes a joke about one of the posts he's seen that has Nick and Rosalee furiously blushing to his surprise and intrigue.

Adalind's nasty side effect for the coma goes a bit sideways. Juliette's got her part as intended, but Renard obsesses over Nick instead. It's all very awkward and confusing for Nick, who's not sure what to feel about Juliette and their strained relationship, still reeling a bit from his mom's reappearance, and discovering the crush on Monroe he'd been ignoring goes deeper than he'd thought now that they're living together. It's like a Shakespearean comedy but not so funny when you're living it.

My mom's been watching some of those shows where they track down lost family and I wondered how it would go if it turned out Nick still has some family on his dad's side. Could be they're human, or a grimm family, but Reed never got powers, even wesen. There could've been an estrangement or Reed was adopted and never knew his birth family. Or maybe Hank or Wu turn out to have long lost grimm or wesen family

AU where Henrietta noticed Jack taking over in time to fight back. He escaped and the possession was dealt with as per canon, but Henrietta lived. She takes Juliette on as an apprentice of sorts. There's no going back to humanity now, but Henrietta does a lot to stabilize the transition so she doesn't lose herself to the dark side. This allows her to either come back to Nick, or just stay friendly but move on and find her new self. Her new self might be more into Henrietta (and/or Renard)...

Nick and Monroe get snowed in at Monroe's place and the power goes out. However will they stay warm?

Nick knows Kelly loves him, but part of him wonders if she'd've stayed if he was a better kid. Marie loved him and was warm enough when she was around, but worked a lot and they rarely saw each other in his adult years. Juliette (justly) shied away from marriage when she remembered him and eventually decided not to make new memories with him when she didn't. He's past pining for her but the rejection lingers. Wesen fear/hate him at first sight. He feels unloveable. Monroe wants to fix that.

I wanna see how Rosalee's dinner reunion with her mom and sister would go with OT3 Rosalee/Monroe/Nick. And why not the visit from Monroe's parents as well? I wonder what Kelly would think if she showed back up in Portland without Adalind and her newborn atom bomb in tow?

Juliette broke things off with Nick but stayed on slightly awkward but friendly terms with him, mostly because she's gotten close to Rosalee and Monroe over the course of getting her memories back. Her friend Alicia still stays with her when she leaves her husband, they beat the snot out of him when he comes to get her and the wesen comes out of the bag when Alicia realizes Juliette saw Joe in full woge and meets Rosalee and Monroe. Alicia sticks around and slow burn romance ensues.
