Lyla Grunt - genetics

I was curious to see how my versions of Lyla Grunt compared to both Ripp and Buck. I created her a long time ago, using a combination of Ripp and Buck’s faces. Since Tank already resembles Buzz in his overall facial structure, I figured Ripp and Buck would take more after their mother. Ripp is certainly very much like her in personality (right down to the aspiration), and Buck is like both of his parents in different ways.

To see it more clearly, here they all are as adult males. My memory was correct in that she has Buck’s chin/jaw area and his brows, and Ripp’s eyes and mouth. I believe her nose began as Ripp’s, but I made it larger, so the effect is somewhat in between the two of them. The cheek area seems more like Ripp’s too, though Buck’s is quite similar anyway.

Another thing Zebeste stole from Julien: his face! Well, not exactly, but I did use him as a starting point, so Zebeste has the same slightly pointed ears (though a touch bigger). She also has permanently lifted eyebrows and a touch of a smile, even when her face is neutral. I might edit her a little more yet. We’ll see.
